Who's the culprit? I had got some table rose cuttings from my aunt and proudly put the pots on my balcony a couple of days ago. Today I found that something had gnawed them off and bitten the tender stems and my plant lay forlorn in pieces in the pot. It may have been a squirrel or maybe even a rat! I'll never know. For now I've put some plastic spikes to deter anything from getting close to the plants and hope that they escape the wrath of any visiting animal friends. Any suggestions on how I can prevent this from happening are welcome.
