Sometimes silence makes me feel like I'm happy to live this way, when there are no distractions and I feel comfortable sitting under a tree, listening to my favourite sounds of nature. There is no tension, I feel free from the burden I always feel on my chest. My soul feels light because I have no heavy thoughts in my mind. I'm not trapped in anything unnecessarily. And sometimes I feel as if I have made a mistake by taking some moments of silence for myself. The silence tears me apart, I feel as if it's pulling my soul thread by thread, layer by layer. It's been so long that I feel like it's been years, and I still can't see the end of it. I can feel the sharpness of silence slicing my body as if I'm made of softness. I feel my inner self melting from the heat it creates within me. That's why I'm afraid to sit by myself in a corner. I keep myself surrounded by people because I'm scared of my silence. It doesn't feel like a happy place anymore. The sound feels like it is piercing through my ear and telling me that you don't deserve to live in silence. It brings back every bad memory I have ever lived throughout my life. And I don't want to live that life again. What do you feel when you hear silence? Peace or horror.
