Yesterday through last night we got a lot of heavy & wet snow. If you don't know snow when it is really cold snow comes down lighter & less compressed & is easier to move with a shovel but when it is warmer & the snow comes down wet & compressed it is like lifting bricks with every shovel full. Like shoveling sand vs mud. Anyways the snow plow came around & pushed all the road snow into the ends of the driveways & it started to freeze into ice chunks. I spent hours chopping the end of the driveway with a shovel to watch all my neighbour's using plows, tractors or snow throwers without a thought to help out others. I guess this is the difference between me & most people, if I had one of the 3 I would be sure to clear all my neighbour's driveway ends so they didn't have to come home from work to a ice wall. Every day I lose a little more faith in my fellow humans & their willingness to think of those around them. *As little as 8inchs(20cm) of snow increases the risk of fatality by heart attack in males by 16% over a day without snow!
