I have heard stories for everything from big black cats to sasquatch to dogmen as local cryptids. I myself have seen what I can only describe as a large black cat walking along a tree line at the back of a farmers field during a road trip. To this day I can't explain it with any known animal native to the area & I have never seen anything other than deer & bears in that area again. What are some of your local legends & cryptids?

I don't know about anything local to me, but this post brings me straight to uncle Si on Duck Dynasty. There is at least one episode where he 's going on about a large cat, I think he says there's a black panther, but I don't remember for sure.
