@ZombieOverlord more from that month

Neurodivergent people (People with things like ADHD & Autism) struggle to get by in a world not build to support them. It is more than just "Squirrel" or explosions of emotions we don't know how to deal with. It is sensory overload in situation where an itchy foot is all you can focus on at that big important meeting. It is saying "What/Pardon?" not because you weren't listening but because your brain didn't want to brain but then half way through them telling you the second time you brain processes everything from the first time & is now bored & working on solutions that have yet to be asked. It's processing some thing so fast It's like mind reading while other times you never get it so you just put on a mask like you understood it. Nesting & masking are 2 terms that I recently learned for things I have always done but didn't know why, when put together with all the other bits & pieces I start to think my life would be much different if I had know why earlier, if I wasn't diagnosed later in life & just written of as lazy or anti social my whole like but instead I was thrown into the wolves with a sheet of paper & a bendy straw to be expected to survive & thrive but instead lead to a mental breakdown that has never left me the same. If you know someone who's story sounds similar reach out, have them get tested so the healing process can begin. This is just the experience of me, a life long goldfish following the dopamine.
