A conversation inside the car with the grandson of grandma: Him:how are you?I guess you can speak arabic good now coz you are working here like how many years?(mixed arabic and english) Me:not really...I am working here for 4years now...but still... I cannot speak arabic fluently.. Him:why? Me:(thinking:what do you expect?you've been studying Dentistry in America for 7years but still your english is not good too..you cannot even speak fluently and it's even hard for you to compose a sentence fastly..😅😏😆"I really wanted to voice out my irritation😅...) Him:but you understand and can speak english right? Me:yes...I can... Him:so what did you finish in the Philippines? Me:I just finished my high school... Him:but you can speak english..how's the education there in your country..did they teach english too? Me:yes...Education is good..and english is the second language in the Philippines.. Him:that's good...that's why you can understand and can speak English.. . Me:yeah... He really wanted to talk more but I think it's not easy for him to compose a sentence coz it takes him a few seconds before he can finish his words.... I realized that studying in America doesn't mean you'll be perfect in speaking english coz even his aunt who studied in america for 4years...she cannot even compose a simple sentence...I am wondering what language they were using while studying there...
