You Are Valuable
Hey, how are you? Is there a time/s that you feel worthless? Or don't feel valuable and loved by the people around you—by your family, friends, special someone, etc. and even to strangers? If yes, this is for you. But if not, this is also for you. How it is for you? Read until the end.
Let me tell you some of my stories first....
When I started my highschool journey (starting from Grade-7) I gained a lot of friends or lets just say I've been close to many people, especially to my classmates. When I was in my 7th grade, I was neutral to my classmates, probably the reason why I was close to all of them. So when some of them ask me to accompy them/her in our canteen or comfort room to school while in our free/break time, I will if I don't have anything important to do like reviewing for exam/quiz or running errands for some of our teachers.
Some of them will open up to me about their problems and sometimes I just see posts from my fb friends about he/she feeling worthless and unvaluable (most girls post those kind of things but there are also some boys).
So I think that's enough for my story haha. Now let me explain why I shared that. I shared that because I want you to know or to remind you that many people feel that they are unworthy or not valuable.
****To someone that doesn't feel valuable;****
YOU ARE VALUABLE. YOU ARE WORTHY. YOU ARE LOVED. Never make yourself feel useless because you're here in this world because you have a purpose. Maybe you just don't see/feel the value that others are giving to you because you are focusing on some things....maybe you don't notice those people that value you because you are focusing on someone else.... And also, don't you know that if those people who love you knew that you feel that way they will get hurt? I experienced that. Because everytime that I see post from some friend of mine saying how they feel worthless, I was hurt, because for me doesn't she appreciate all my efforts? ***To know your value, appreciate those people who love you.*** **Appreciate even the little act of kindness of people around. Don't focus on negative. Be happy on what you have and on the people that care for you. Don't make yourself believe in lies like, "Nobody loves you. You're so useless. You're a failure." because that will only bring you down. Keep in mind that you have a purpose and that there are people who care for you—who need you.**
****To someone that feel valuable:****

You feel valuable, right? So why don't you share that. Let others feel that they have value. Be kind to them by telling how beautiful she is or how handsome he is. Appreciate them, see the good things in them and their good deeds. Don't be hard on them because they are already hard on themselves.

Why Oli chose to be like Jimin? Because He don't appreciate what he have. He's not contented on what he looks. He want to be like others than being who he is.
I just wanna share you that story. Please don't be on that point. It's okay if you do what others do, if that's right, if that doesn't hurt anyone, if that's not wrong in God's eyes.
The one you idolise may be an artist, a famous person or someone that you really admire. If you already experience it, how does it feel? If you're experiencing it, how do you feel?

My friend imitated how Billie dress, move and act, she even coloured her hair, though she can't be exactly that person no matter how hard she tries and no matter how much she likes it. She wants to be that person because she sees how talented it is. But the sad thing is, *she doesn't notice the good characteristics that she has.* **She doesn't know how valuable and unique is she.**
I just want you to know that **we are all different from each other**. ***Others can do what you can't, but there's something that you can do but others can't.***
It's ok to admire someone, but not to the point that you will lose yourself, that you don't know who you truly are anymore.
To know who you truly are, you need to accept who you are. You need to accept the fact and not the lies that the enemies are telling you. Maybe you think that if you become that person you will be also liked by others. Hey! Some people like you for being you! (Don't expect to be liked by everyone.) **You just need to be you.**
*You just need to see and appreciate the people around you.*
**The first step to be yourself is to know who you are.** It's not your name that I'm talking about. Let's say your name is Zeya, but who is Zeya? Is she a person who always smile and laugh even in her dark moments? Is she a person who hates being corrected or just don't want to be shouted at her face at tell how wrong she is and not advising what to do next time? Is she what the enemies are telling who she is?
**Don't make yourself believe in lies, others are already making you believe it.** Aren't you interested in who you are? Did you ask yourself who you are? Let me tell you this, **YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD.**

**We are all created by Him and He blesses us in different ways.** Some are singers, dancers, actors/actresses, etc. Some are left-handed, some are right-handed. Some are tall, some are small. But still, **we don't need to have what others have, what we need is God because if we have God,we have everything we need** *(Read John 14:8).*
You don't need to be like others. Be yourself. Value yourself. Love yourself like how God loves you.

City and Province
While I was waiting for my phone to get fully charged, I go outside in our house and wander around. Suddenly a question came up into my mind—Where is it better, to live in City or to live in a province(where I am living) ? Then another questions came up into my mind. What are the advantages and disadvantages of living in a province and city? What are their differences and similarities?
But before that, let's differentiate Province and City.
According to Google:
A **CITY** is a large settlement, bigger than a town while **PROVINCE** is a subdivision of government usually one step below the national level. Source. https://wikidiff.com/city/province
So let's start, let me share what I observed as a advantages and disadvantages in city and province.
Here in **province** the **advantages** are;

**~ Can Smell Fresh air**
Here, we can smell fresh air because farms and tress are everywhere.
**~ Can Produce our own foods**
that is very helpful especially when pandemic started and going outside is not allowed) though not everyone have enough space or land to plant theirs, they can ask or buy to their neighbors.
**~ The people have bayanihan/pagkakaisa (unity)**
Since there's no many machines that we can use, people knows how much they need each other.
The disadvantages are;
**~ Far from market**
Where we can buy essentials and other things like school supplies etc.
**~ Road with Soil**
When it's raining, the road is filled of soil (cause the road here are not all cemented and we are surrounded by farm which is very hard especially when we have to go to school or work)
**- Difficult transportation**
Unlike in the Cities, we don't have trains and taxis. If you're far from highway that's more difficult because you need to travel more.
**While in city**

**~ The roads are cemented**
It is much easier to walk and not messy or dirty, but when it's raining your shoes can be wet too haha.
**~ Have a lot of markets**
There are many many stores where you can buy and choose. If there's no item that you need to in the other store, you can buy to others.
**~Transportation is much easier**
Since it is more progressive in City, it has many things that cannot be found in province.
*But.......*
**~ The air is polluted**
Because there are many factories and different kinds of chemicals and machines that produces smokes and also the trees has been cutted and removed to build more buildings.
**~ There's only few trees**
Just like what I said before, it is being cutted and removed by some people to buy the land and more reasons, but the main reason is to earn money. Well, everyone is working so hard to earn money or to make for living. But it's sad that our nature is being destruct, and the health of many is affected.
**~ Have a lot of criminals**
In province, there's also criminals, but there are more in city. Since some people there doesn't have work because they are not given an opportunity because there are many people that are more qualified than them, because right now people are looking for those who are graduated in college and have more experiences.
Living here in province and in city can be easy and hard sometimes and that's what makes them similar.
Remember that wherever you are, life can be hard sometimes. But that doesnt mean that your life will remain like that. As you see, wherever you choose to live there are advantages but there are also disadvantages.
If you are born with a poor family, it's not your choice that you're there but staying there is a choice. I'm sure you want to give your family a easier life, but **wanting something but not doing anything, you will never be able get it.** You have to learn and work. You might be stepping on soil, always working with dusts, starving, sweating but if you work hard and don't give up, you will be able to have a good life.

If you're born with a rich family, it is also not your choice but maintaining that kind of life is a choice. You might be rich because of your family, but that doesn't mean that you don't have to work. If you don't know how to manage money and just buy everything you want, you will become poor. But, I know that being with a rich family is also not easy. Some may be pressured especially those who have company and have to manage it in the future (well, watching dramas can really help to understand things sometimes haha).

My point is that *life is just like that, whether you are rich or poor it can be hard. You can be happy, you can be sad. You can win, you can lose.*
**Not all the things we want, we can get. Not all the times what we want is what will happen. We're humans, we don't have the ability to make things happen on what we want it to be. But there's one thing that I am sure, if you don't give up despite of all the problems and challenges, if you continue on moving without hurting others and keep on doing what is right along the process, you will succeed.**
Okay, let's go back to the question haha. So, I ask myself again, which really is better place to live?
Then I guess... It is depend on a kind of person. If a person wants a simple life then living in province is better, but if a person wants more than simple then it's better to live in city.
If you're going to ask me where I want to live, well, I'm fine at any of the two as long as I am happy. I like in province because of the natural views. I like in City because of many opportunities.
