Do you work out in the rice paddies? Is it true what my wife said, that there are lots of leeches in there? Ugh!! When we drive through the flat areas around here, we'll frequently see some guy trudging through the paddy, plowing the "mud".

  Oh yes lots of leeches but not in our rice field, in some areas like in lower farm, or in the water creek. Yes this past few days farmers are busy working in the ricefield to prepare for planting. It's planting season for first crap

    Yes, I talked to my brother-in-law about this today, and he corrected me. He has actually worked in rice fields, but where he was there were no leeches. Why? The water was brackish, which is apparently okay for rice, but not for leeches.
