Banks are fucked. Sweden's tightening down on withdrawls from exchanges. Was told by my bank to daisy chain the money through a third party like Revolut or PayPal. Assholes.
Coming in for a half-decent retest on BTC dominance. If there's an alt season in the making - it's gonna hurt BTC real bad. https://www.tradingview.com/x/w4l69te6/
Had a good look through Colin talks crypto's CBBI index this morning. Firstly kudos to Colin and Kamil for putting such a great resource out there for free and I remember donating BCH to it a few months ago. If you use it then I think its a great site to contribute something to. It's hard to get a full understanding of the CBBI without knowing the weighting given to each separate index. However the more I look at it the more I wonder how it performs in a market environment when BTC now only held 60% dominance on average over the last four years and 40% dominance currently. A lot of trends within the CBI tend to point down. For instance, the google search trend for BTC sees a lower high at the recent 64k mark in May while google trends show Etherium putting in a new high in May. Cryptocurrency as a search term also put in a new high in May. does this mean BTC hasn't yet peaked and the rest of the market will follow or does it mean the market has peaked and is less reliant on the dominance of BTC? Time will tell.

ok - got some unexpected BCH kicking about following a conversion from XEC. Any ideas of good smartBCH projects to look into? 1. Would be great to support the community 2. What can I currently use smartBCH for? all comments and links to projects are welcome.
It's hilarious to see LN advocates celebrating being able to buy a cup of Mcdonald's coffee!!!! in El Salvador. The irony isn't lost here. 1. Do I need to remind anyone of the Bitcoins not for buying coffee mantra of the maxis? 2. More importantly - For f@cks sake surely there's better coffee in El Salvador than Mceffin Donalds? Get some class.
Nothing like one decent candle in crypto to wipe out one month's trading. Feeling good after completing my BCH coin splitting, then buying BCH and fiat profit-taking from the XEC I sold yesterday before this shit show.
What is it with exchanges and their need for 11 or 12 confirmations?
Happy not to be looking at Bitcoin Cash and XEC wallets for the first time in three days.
Ok - managed to extract all my XEC from my pre BCHA-fork coins. 1. Thanks to all the BCH community for helping me especially @Kain_niak - what a nice guy and an excellent advocate for Bitcoin Cash. 2. Learnt a lot about Bitcoin Cash and am even more impressed with it following my process. Ok as a novice in terms of coin management - it was a little stressful. I had all of my coins on a hard wallet and that meant most of the ABC split tutorials didn't cover my situation. Or at least I didn't have time to learn too much about chasing things down on the block explorer. Process for splitting coins from a ledger nano 1. Install Electron-Cash and Electrum ABC wallets on your computer. 2. Make a wallet in each of the above. 3. Open the ledger in Electron-Cash by making a new wallet based on hardware - it will find your nano ledger. 4. Find the pre-fork coins under coins. 5. Send the pre fork coins to your Electron-Cash wallet using the spend feature - during this proccess they get mined and the XEC is added to the coin. 6. After being confirmed - it takes a while the first time - then find the coin in the Electron - Cash wallet and again prepare to transfer them back to the Nano Ledger 7. Open the Ledger Live - and set up a receiving address. Do not set up a receiving address on the Electron-Cash reader for the ledger wallet. 8. Spend the coins to the Ledger Address using the Ledger Live receiving address. 9. Now open Electrum ABC and make a new wallet using the hardware feature - it should find your ledger - and instead of reading BCH, it will read XEC. 10. Then spend those coins to an address on the Electrum ABC Wallet you created at the beginning. 11. Check your ledger live app - there should be no change to your BCH balance.
Is it just me or do XEC confirmations take for evvvvvveeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrr?
Just started using the Electron-Cash Wallet - I can see why so many people talk about how good this is. Crazy to be able to get a deep dive into my cash!
Please help I have a pre-Bitcoin Cash ABC fork on a hardware wallet (ledger) I have an Electron Cash wallet on my computer. Does anyone have experience in moving BCH from a hardware wallet to Electron Cash in order to fork BCH? Is it easy? Is it riksy? How long does it take to fork Bitcoin Cash? Any tutorials that people know about please let me know.
Jeremy on The Bitcoin Cash Podcast discussing a major increase in short interest (short positions) on BCHG - great that he’s brought attention to this as its very odd - maybe @pantera99 might be able to clarify. My understanding is that BCHG positions are locked in for a year - so in order for a short position to move to profit is if there was a large sell-off of positons acquired from a year ago. Given the huge short interest position taken this is either a cover from a year ago or they are expecting BCHG to tank. The only other possibility is that the BCHG short interest positions are also locked in for a year but that is a massive gamble and a terrible way to lock money in. And therefore not likely. https://www.tradingview.com/x/dA0THdNd/ https://fintel.io/ss/us/bchg

Just listening to the Bitcoin Cash Podcast - This is a really great one. prompt.cash/s/mS9owf
Well at least they were nice enough to leave a few tips. Looks like an account gone rouge.

Thanks to all noisers promoting Bitcoin Cash on read.cash YouTube and other platforms. Currently the most undervalued project in the cryptosphere.
I think Bitcoin Cash is going to have to start showing some strength soon or it's going to move further down the rankings. It's missed out on major periods of investment while other projects have pushed up. Currently needs to 3 X its market cap to get back into the top 10 on coinmarketcap. This is not about pumping the price in the short term it's about seeing a sustained investment into the project at levels equal to the percentage rise in the overall market cap. It's hard to stomach given the quality of the project. Chart BCH against other midcaps showing clear tearing indicating lack of investement at key times of market expansion. https://www.tradingview.com/x/HI5kAVji/
This would be a good time for Kim Dotcom to update his K.IM website and show us what he's been working on. We should be way past the BCH integration phase which was scheduled for Q2 2021. Launch is supposed to happen sometime in Q4 2021 - which is where we're at now!
Have a deadline for 12.00 - currently in the I can’t be arsed phase of denial.
Starting to feel like Bitcoin Cash is in the bore you out of your position phase. Shocking that it’s sitting at no.15 with so many BCH projects up and running compared to other projects which are effectively in beta phase or worse.
Not often you see an article like this on The Guardian. Rise of cryptocurrencies can be traced to Nixon abandoning gold in 1971 Larry Elliott https://www.theguardian.com/business/2021/aug/15/rise-of-cryptocurrencies-can-be-traced-to-nixon-abandoning-gold-in-1971?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other
Possibly one of the greatest Swedish products. Silent, discreet nicotine delivery. The only major drawback is that it’s highly addictive. Snus.
Jeremy’s analysis of BitPay on The Bitcoin Cash Podcast is great - showing a clear weakness in BTC being used for purchases. Very much enjoy his take on forgetting about speculation and concentrating on adoption and fundamentals. Although I think that grayscale buying up BCH,ETH and LTC points to a potential market top in 12 months as investors look to make the most out of the final phase of a speculative bubble. Would love to be wrong about this as it would show that cryptocurrency is going to be adopted into everyday use in the near future. https://youtu.be/I7_zsYKC4-k
I’d like to see Jeremy invite Pantera99 onto The Bitcoin Cash podcast. I don’t know of any other author as prolific as him in the crypto space. #thebitcoincashpodcast
So if tether goes flop - what are people going to sell into when BTC begins to tank? There simply isn’t enough Fiat liquidity on exchanges to cover a massive sell. Most likely exchanges shut down for maintenance or just go black. Fun times ahead. @pantera99 #tether
Painful but is it likely or most likely true? https://mobile.twitter.com/CryptoWhale/status/1430509937659203597
Been missing in action for a while looks like one of my favourite noisers D.B Cooper has gone into retirement. Where are you man? I miss the updates on your garden!
BCHUSD price is getting tight - a break up is going to take us into the 800's support should now be in the 580's. https://www.tradingview.com/x/VtXBShCA/
Interesting to see Marc de Messel's latest video Keep your Winners Cut, Your Losers. The best thing about Marc's investment videos is the honesty. Especially about the investment in Bitcoin Cash - which has underperformed in price during this cycle. Although I think it's difficult to compare BCH to a company - it's more like a political/economic/social movement consisting of developers, proponents, and investors - than an organisation aimed at getting products to market. In the current market space, it is clear that investment favours speculation as opposed to actual use and tested functionality. This makes holding a majority position in BCH very difficult to swallow even though my current position is at 560% in the black - whatever happens in the next phase the real test will be in the next serious Bear Market. This is where fundamentals and real use adoption will separate the speculative from the dependable.
