Distinguishing Roosters and Hens Hi friends, I'm back here, for the last few days I've been busy, and now I can make another post here. This time I will explain how to distinguish the sex of a rooster and a hen at the age of 1 month based on the phenotype. What is the phenotype? Phenotypes are physical characteristics that we can observe in living things. It seems they look very scared to see me haha, yes because they have only been in my chicken coop for a few weeks, previously I bought these chickens from my friends. I marked the picture in the shape of a red circle, and look this is a male gender, the cock's comb looks big and bright red. And the head shape looks bigger. You can guess the blue circle, yup, that's right, this chicken is female, the female's comb looks smaller and the head shape looks smaller too. Are you still confused about the difference? Indeed. We can distinguish it by their appearance mate. Male chickens are beautiful than female. Most animals. Males are more attractive than females. Just like how lions have beautiful hair than lioness.
