We have chickens at home too but the one we called "native". We prefer to eat the meat rather than eggs

Keeping chickens in home is very beneficial because you don't have to buy eggs from market you can use that eggs which your chicken giving at home . We have also bought few chickens we are keeping them so that we can take some benefits.
