Virus Attack Yesterday my friend told me an incident that shocked me, his chicken farm suffered a viral attack and caused all the chickens he kept to die. I am very sad to hear that, I hope he is strong enough to accept the disaster he has experienced. Virus attacks can occur at any time. Chickens that are infected with the virus can be seen from the color of the chicken's comb which turns purplish and the feces are green. Actions that can prevent chickens from contracting the virus are cleaning the cage, spraying the chicken coop with disinfectant, and always giving antibiotics to increase body resistance every 2 weeks. Prevention is better than cure, always discipline in keeping the chickens healthy is part of the fun in raising chickens.

I just found out about it.
I feel sorry and sad for him. My father used to raise chickens and he had experienced that.
There are times when most of the chickens in the neighborhood die due to virus attacks too. Hope there would be none this year.
i am sorry for your friends chicken,, i hope yours will be okay...
We have free roam chickens, native chickens, skinny but the soup when cooked is very delicious . At night when they perch on trees, just randomly fall, seems they died while sleeping we call it "giatay"
I remember few weeks ago, there was a bird flu so we cannot buy any chicken... It caused a big problem to chicken breeders because once one chicks get it, it will spread fast
