Home Alone 2: Lost in New York is a 1992 American comedy film, sequel to the 1990 film Home Alone. Like its predecessor, it was directed by Chris Columbus, written and produced by John Hughes and stars Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern, Catherine O'Hara and John Heard, who reprise their roles from the first film, while Tim Curry and Brenda Fricker play new characters. The film introduces little Kevin McCallister, who must once again confront the burglars who tried to rob his home after he accidentally gets separated from his family during the Christmas vacations.
