A mothers ego
I already mentioned here a week ago that we are going to stay in my inlaws house. Honestly, I am not comfortable with staying at here. It is not because of my in laws but because on the people around us. I mean the neighborhood of my in laws. Everytime we visited here, they always noticed our son. They are always comparing my son to other babies and its not okay with me. I want to express my feelings , I want to talk to them why they are like that but I choose to stay quiet and calm because I dont want an issue. I remember a time that I cried in the room because I cant handle my emotions anymore. Last year when we visited here , they said " your son is turning one year old but he doesnt able to walk yet, your son seems so soft, my son when he is one year old he already walked " The other said " your son is thin and short, my baby is bouncing and big " And a lot more than makes my ego hurt. It feels like I am not giving my best to my son. But then Kyrie started walking by 13 months and now he was running and try to hide and escape from me now π So after a year. We are here again. Kyrie is now 21 months old. Yesterday his Papa give him a walk outside the house. I hear a voice saying. " Is your son already speak? " my husband said " yes a little bit " then this neighborhood speaks to my son and son didnt response. The neighborhood smiles like theres other meaning and said hes going two years old, by this time he should pronounced some words. My husband just stay quiet and ignored thier neighbor. I know, babies has different development. Just adults are different when it comes to maturity. I dont want to pressure my son regarding his development. All I know is I will support him and guide him all the time. I am just thinking that why other people are like that?

I think you should not stop those comments, your child's development is not the same as the rest of the others, but if a doctor tells you there if you have to pay attention, are you taking your child to his consultations?
Yes, we visited a pedia every month. As per pedia its okay , nothing to worry about as long as he engaged with other people and understand his environment. He pronounced little words but he does not pronounced it well.
Sorry, but I have strong doubts about boys walking at the age of 1 year old. Boys develop way later than girls and are not as active. Nature has a good reason for that. It's a good thing to have a big, fat baby? It's unhealthy, be happy yours is not. It's totally not important what the neighborhood thinks. Give the stupid gossipers something to talk about. Ask if they can keep a secret.. Whisper in their ear your son is very special and high intellectual and specialist supervises him because of his extremely superb bodyweight which proves his IQ is extraordinary. They even pay for his special diet. ππ
Thank you for this comment. I appreciate it so much.
"If you want to beat a dog you always find a stick" is what people say here. Some people love to hit you. They do because you accept it in silence. A friend once told me I am too polite, I should take my legal room in the society and give them something to talk about. We did by telling some.... and you know what? The gossip stopped, we were no longer interesting enough to bully.
Any dami talagang nasasabi ng other people ano, bat ganon. Malay naman nila ayaw lang sila kausap ni baby mo kasi alam niyang ano βοΈ. Bat kaya ang hilig mag compare π€¦
Madami talagang ganun mahilig magkumpara haha.
Kaya nga ee, π€¦. Buti dito sakin natigil na ang oagkokompara, wala na kasi silang mapag kukumparahan π€£
ai what happened? hehe. Chismosa haha. Gawan mo nalang ng article π
Ajahaha, ayown di na nila nakakausap, malayo na dito tapos di bpa nagbayad ng utang, pamangkin nila haha
He's just a late bloomer. A kid I know is like that too (and we're friends). He talked when he is already three, I think. Bow that he's four, he still can't talk properly but he's very smart and sweet. Don't mind those gossipers haha. Be a good mom and teacher and slap them with your baby's improvements. Anyways, you don't have to prove anything to them lol.
I already slapped them with my little one's improvement but I didnt tell them. They just noticed it π Then they will say Galing naman ng anak mo but there's a mom here na yaw padin patalo and telling me na yung age daw ni baby e madali talagang turuan π Naaasar lang ako minsan. haha
