Hello Everyone! Due to a strike of Alitalia workers all the viability around the airport is blocked! I don't know how to go to work today...! In case you don't know Alitalia is the most important Airline in Italy and has a bad economic situation, let's say it is very near to bankruptcy. The workers leaded by Unions are shouting against the company cuts on personnel and other decisions that put at risk the job of thousands of people! This morning they stopped flights now they are blocking the highway... It's a hard time for a lots of families. 😔

It is a screen of a video of my colleagues shooted yesterday when she was going away from the airport after her duty at work. She just wanted to warn us that the situation was serious and we could have found very hard to reach the airport yesterday
I hope the situation will be resolved the soonest, airline business are crashing today, effect of pandemic...I wish Italian govt and business sector can generate alternative jobs to mitigate the problems...

Is there a chance that they will successfully fight for their rights and be better? What, exactly, do they expect? Maybe the government should help? Trade unions and unity in the fight are not a bad thing, if the demands are realistic and achievable. And of course, if the problem is solved quickly.
Alitalia has always been in great debt, money disappear so quickly but the crisis stay the same. Gov have always financed the Airline with no great results. Now the crisis is so deep no one can do anything...
This is so sad to hear, covid screwed up all of us and on top of that, inefficient governments... i feel pity on normal humans.. hope the situation gets better soon
It's not only Covid hun... It's bad management first! It's the play behind these great companies where money enters but no one knows where it goes just pouffff! Disappears in the pockets of these smart business men who play with the workers' lives...
