Unfortunately, in the last ten, maybe even more years, this "Eastern" rhythm is very present in Serbia. I call it "Turkish melos". I gained an aversion to him because of listening at every turn. This is the story of how I got acquainted with the music of Mr. Zoran Simjanović. Unfortunately, he died recently .. It is specifically about the Guardian Angel that gypsy music is in question.

The man made the music for most of the legendary films. He was amazing. He often collaborated with the lyricist and singer Šaban Bajramović. A gypsy from my city. I knew him personally. Although he is much older than me. In my youth, I visited cafes with a bad reputation and met him there. We got drunk several times. Did you listen to anything from him.

Unfortunately, my sons went the other way despite my persistent explanation. They can't really enjoy film art. They just don't care. To be honest, music is something else. They are very active there. Especially in "trap" music, a subtype of rap. They also have videos on You Tube with thousands of views. Matrix generation. That's what I call them. It's their life and their thing, it just bothers me that they don't have a desire for various interests.
My son listen to various genres like me but he loves good music. No trap, rap but he likes Eminem. His ring tone is Painted Black by Rolling Stones go figure😊
