EMIGRATING IS LIKE DYING Nice reflection I read it and wanted to share it with you. When the day to say goodbye approaches, you feel how little by little you fall, until the day comes. There are your relatives and some friends saying goodbye to you, without the certainty that one day they will see you again, and while they announce that the bus is leaving, the tears and crying begin to surface; They hug you so tight as if it were a last goodbye... Until finally you feel that something inside you dies. Your family begins a grieving process, every day they miss you, every day they remember you, every day they cry for you. In your house, there is a leftover plate on the table, a bed, a room. Your friends begin to realize the kind of person you were, how much you were worth and now how much you need; that really it wasn't all partying and laughing, but also crying and listening, but as time goes by, they get used to the idea that you're not there. While you are still not used to being without your family and friends, cold and worried, this is the life of a son who has left his country. Having your loved ones away definitely kills you, dries you up, breaks you and you still don't get the idea that you will stay like this for a long time. For those who remained, it is easier if the rest of the family surrounds them; When one leaves, it only hurts for a few days because somehow, they are accompanied, but nobody reflects on the other side of the coin: When you are surrounded by family or friends, and one is the one who leaves, how do you do it? When we leave, we leave a space, a place and our people in "PAUSED", while for them time will pass totally the same, everyone continued with their lives; and although many told us "I MISS YOU TOO MUCH" it didn't seem to affect them much. The day we can finally go back to our country we will see everything so different, everything and everyone will be so different, some of us will visit their home, some at the hospital and others we will simply have to bring flowers... How much I miss you my beautiful land, family and my friends.
