Is Education a key to success?
This is the most repeated sentence I have always heard growing up. Education is the key to success, but how true is it? I have taken those 5 words so seriously as if my life depends on them. As a young lad, I have always wanted to be successful and those words told that until I was educated success may be far from me made me push really hard to be educated.
In trying to become educated, I would spend my whole night awake either fixing an assignment or just studying for a test or exam. I can't even mention how tough it was waking up on a cold morning and getting set to hit the road for school. We are expected to pass our exams but never have I thought that exams were nothing but memorizing all I read in books to paste on sheet when asked questions about that. But I attended school thinking it was the only way to be educated or a way to success.
But, there are kids in my neighborhood whose parents were not rich enough to send them to school. Instead, they took another path to knowledge. They developed useful skills for themselves. Like my neighbor in the next bungalow, his children were enrolled in a small fashion school where they are nurtured. But some of them were made to go learn how to fix cars. And others learned welding and fabrication.
As children, we tease them about been uneducated for not going to school as others do. As we're made to believe, children as such would never succeed. And when we proceed to sit in for our final exams in high school, the other children were already capable of solving real-life problems by offering useful solutions. The best we could do was to speak grammar and fancy languages while they try to communicate in simple terms.
We proceed to the university to pursue our careers in the various disciplines we've chosen. And before we graduated the other children we never thought could make it had started their own, fashion houses, a fabrication company, and a mechanic workshop. And after we have graduated, and done all that was necessary after graduation, the realities of life started dawning on us. And those we used to mock for being uneducated now have established companies while we were writing proposals and applications for job openings. They moved to diversify their investments in a different portfolios, while we the educated ones are still yet to find a well-paying job.
One of our neighbor's children that never went to school became one of the richest persons in the country and others were doing just well for themselves. Most of the educated ones became employed by the uneducated ones, including myself. They became our bosses and one can say we were educated for them because we answer yes sir to them.
I have paused to ask myself again and again what it really does mean to be educated? Were we lied to? If education is the key to success, why then are those educated not more successful than the uneducated ones? And every time I tried to stop thinking about it, it keeps coming back at me.
In the 21st century would it still be correct when we say education is a key to success? I can say knowledge is key to success but education is not exactly what leads to success. Knowledge is broader and covers a wider aspect when we talk about it. But education is just a niche of knowledge. I have come to realize that we have been wrong all along thinking our neighbor's children were not educated. The problem was, that we were made to see knowledge from a very narrow point which was attending classroom activities. Our neighbor's children were educated too but in an informal way and their schools were informal. Informal doesn't mean sub substandard but it is just a way of saying they are unconventional schools.
Education is Important but not a key to success. However, knowledge is a key to success. Education is a way of becoming literate while knowledge is having a core understanding of things.
How Corruption impedes progress
We don't need to start defining corruption as it is a thing almost everyone knows about. Or maybe not knowing exactly but have an idea about it. Yet also, if they have not figured out the meaning, they must have seen the effects of it in.
Corruption comes in different forms and is practiced by different people in different ways. And hardly ever a nation that such becomes endemic realizes progress. A great nation and empire fall due to the habits of individuals. And fighting it off can be dangerous sometimes, especially when those involved in it are also accomplices and complacent about the crime.
Yes, corruption itself is a word that could represent different kinds of unwholesome practices.
In governance, corruption could mean individuals trying to subvert processes and encouraging shortcuts to create an unnecessary bottleneck. The more things are disorganized the more they benefit from it. And most people who encourage it would do everything to keep the status quo.
In the hospital, corruption can be nauseating that even the sick are not spared from the corrupt practices of those who are supposed to care for their ill-health. Some health workers go as far as stealing drugs and medical items that are meant for patients. They aim to go sell them when they have the chance. You get to see individuals whose monthly pay would not achieve the kind of lifestyle they live. But, for them, it is smartest about living the kind of life that you so want. Never do they care if such a lifestyle is detrimental to the patients they have vowed to care for. Corrupt practices around healthcare facilities lower the quality of healthcare a patient receives and in most cases lead to unnecessary loss of life of a patient.
Corrupt practices among security agents: security is another very important aspect of society and it becomes dangerous when those who are supposed to give protection to life and property get themselves involved in corruption. Among the personnel, corruption could be in the form of taking bribes, a former of financial inducement to compromise and let a criminal off the hook.
Corruption can also find its way to court. And this can be the most repugnant of them. Society thrives because everyone feels there is justice and that thread that binds all together is justice. But when Justice is sold as in trade to make the innocent suffer while the guilt goes unpunished then society is only being prepared for a total collapse. And this can be really dangerous as the strong will feaster on the weak without being checked.

Being broke
The title sounds a bit awkward. But sure I know many of us can relate to it. Being broke is a situation we must have been in a couple of times and most of us have struggled to avoid that brokenness.
I don't mean to be broken like a bottle would break as in the past tense, but that situation you find yourself having no money either in your pocket or you have spent all the money you have in your bank account and are left with nothing. Not only that, but again everyone is broke too that they don't have a dime to help you at the moment. You just find yourself stranded and having nothing to fall on.
The situation becomes even tense when you're living all alone and farther away from home. As a single individual living in a rented space, you just have to spend on many things to get on with your daily life. It is even worse if you live in a place where you have to pay for the most basic thing like water and generate your electricity. This is the situation I found myself in this month.
I was shown onto read.cash because I used to be always broke. After joining it, I must confess it did pay my bills. And then I got spammed which I lost a very lucrative account and I could barely tell exactly how that happened. I think I've talked about this in my previous article and you can have a read on my being spammed. This platform was my job every day before that incident but having a new account, I hope it gets to pal with the one I used to have before it.
Firstly when I registered this new account, I tried to get it off as I did in the previous one. My first article's earnings was encouraging. But it was not until I was already giving up on it. It took days to start seeing the rewards pouring in on the number one article. And I was excited that indeed it went well.
My second and third articles did bring in the juice as expected and I would say those have been my worst performing articles since I started writing articles. Like it did the first one, it also took days to start seeing the rewards by this time it was ways too slow and low. And due to that, I couldn't meet my weekly target of cashouts. This has affected my financial situation significantly. Alas, the reason for my brokenness.
I know one would want to say I am never wise to have just one income source. I agree and indeed it is never of economic wisdom to depend on just one income. I do have another source only that read.cash serves as that quick fund that you need to take care of little things. I've read stories about people whose situations have turned better by coming on this platform to write and I must say I'm a testimony to that. And for the fact that I have achieved quite a lot, I wish to do some donations to the platform if I become more buoyant.
A friend called me yesterday about read.cash and expressed his fears that it may be crashing soon. We spoke at length when he related to me that he may not have a thing to fall back on when it eventually goes off soon. To soot his heart, I told him not to worry much even though I don't know what fate lies before me. He has always been a friend since our high school days. Although he is graduated from the University while I'm still pursuing my studies. He was working as a school teacher and ever since he came here, I have seen a lot of changes with him. It was he who showed me to this platform. A couple of times when I first started, it was a failure. However, I never gave up due to his encouragement. And after I lost my phone and every other thing along with it that lost, only for the few things I backed up on my PC, I couldn't retrieve the former account. So I have to register a new one and I was eldorado.
I hope this lucrative platform does not crash soon. However, they have made it pretty clear from the start. I have read about how one needs to get prepared for a possible crash of the platform. And just yesterday after dropping the call on my friend I started reminiscing about what I read and what he told me. It was only then it struck me with the possibility of the platform crashing. May be the reality of being broke for a longer period may be true but we just have to find viable alternatives.
Spamming and staying away from it
You never could tell damaging spamming could be to your account until you have a very successful read.cash account that is earning you handsomely. This was it going for me and it still hurts to badly.
I know one of the reasons that attract spamming is duplicity of other people's articles without their permission. Since I've been shown to read.cash I have strived really hard to maintain that descipline. I have no reason to copy other people's work when I have my own thoughts and ideas to pen down.
Even after trying to find the reason for which my account was spammed It had so far yielded nothing. I'm left at the mercy of starting all over again. But my suspicion is that it is due to a report that some one on whose post I commented felt I was not responding to what he wrote but It was a question I asked on the post. Probably he or she reported my comment and that is probably where the spamming all came about.
It hurts so bad but I just have to move on in as much as I have learned my lessons the hard way. I have resolved that I would be very cautious on other commenting on other people's posts, because some people seem to carry their life issues on to read.cash and it will only take a little comment before you let off the fuse and everything goes baserk.
What I think this platform should do before spamming anyone
For a fact that It takes a whole lots of hard work and patience to grow ones profile to that point that they start reaping from their account. Read.cash should at least give those who are to being spammed a chance to fair hearing. This is necessary so as fairness would prevail among among writers and the between writers and the platform.
I know many who have been a victim would share this sentiments.
However, there are ways to avoid spamming from your point and which you can put under control.
Firstly, be sure that your don't copy other articles; if you must avoid been a victim of spamm then you have to flee from copying other people's work without their permission or simply copying them words for words.
Secondly, do not write fluff comments; by this I mean writing short comment like yeah, wow or just simply concor to posts without necessarily contributing meaningfully to it.
Lastly, read articles carefully before commenting. But if the post seem to difficult to comprehend then just leave to see other comprehensible posts.

The purpose for which most of us are here on read.cash is not just for fun sake. It is something much more. And as it is with humans we tend to have more seriousness with things that brings us benefits. Writing on this platform brings many of us benefits.
Before coming here on read.cash I have always struggled to find something that would at least bring me regular earnings. Severally, my friends have urged me to come here to write and make some bucks for myself weekly. I must say I was hesitant at the beginning but seeing my earnings for just my first article is really encouraging. Although I may not have all the luxury of time to publish every single day but I will always do my best to maintain my pace.
I've read several stories of people paying their bills from writing here and mother's having this platform to thank for giving them a chance to use their time well even though they have nothing to do to earn while being house wives. It has really paid them to contribute to their family.
But, the scope of my writing today is to see ways on how to optimize our writing skills to bring us better results. It is understandable that seeing others earning so big on an article, many of us really want to replicate that or even do better than those we have seen. However, the way to go about it is the big issue. Do you really need to write tonnes of articles to really earn it that big? I have seen individuals who published just a single article and earned fantastically on them. So, it is time to ask yet another important question, would you prefer to write multiple article to earn $1 worth of BCH each or just and article that give you $10-$12 worth of BCH? I can bet the second option is most people's desire. So now, how do you achieve that? To answer that question, I would say you need to optimize your article.

Write a very captivating tittle
For anyone to get so interested to read the whole article, they must have first come across the tittle to your article. The tittle is always the first attraction that draws your audience in, to read the rest of it.
Before writing a title for your article, first imagine what would really attract you to read someone else's article. If you could figure out what could draw you in to read an article then effect it on yours and write that killer tittle that would draw anyone even though they're not willing to read in the first place.
Write Useful Content
The reason anyone would care to read your article from the start to finish is because the article has really useful content in it. After you have succeeded in drawing an audience to read from your tittle, it is the content and the value it holds that would keep them reading until finish.
However, to give any useful content you have to deliver in the niche that you're well rounded. That is: try as best as you can to stick to writing what you're really good at talking about. If it's sports, the likelihood to write an enjoyable and useful content is higher than writing for BCH which you have little or no depth knowledge about.
Get involved in other people's posts
Read.cash is like a community and the probable aim of the founders is to bring different minds to interact. So, if you must optimize you writing in order to earn more BCH then you have to be a part of that community. The Things a writer should know
There are several things to know as a writer who really care to make an impact in his or her writing career. This is my first article and I wish to share my experiences being a writer on other platforms. Yeah! You got that right, I'm always a writer but only new on read.cash
Most people stumble into writing and feels it is simply to put pen to paper and just write. Or, they maybe punching the keyboard to write words into sentences that expresses thought.
We have to be honest, writing can be really difficult. But, it is easier for some especially when one enjoys doing it.
Writing can take different forms and the purpose for your writing gives it the form. For the fact the one can be good on one type or form of writing, doesn't automatically guarantee that it is the same for other types. Let's say your good at story telling, but you may not necessarily be good at academic writing. The skills and purpose for each kind of writing is different. And one can have a good career in whatever form or type of writing they specialize.
But generally, there are things a writer must know if they aim to make the best of their writing career. And it is the focus of this article. So, let's see those things a writer should be aware about:
Purpose of the write up
Before starting any writing, the first thing that should come to mind should be the purpose for which the article or piece you wish to write. The purpose of it would give direction to whatever is to be written. And it is easier to accomplish a piece of writing quickly when it has an intended purpose.
Always feel relaxed
A common mistake some writers often make is being hasty about getting a piece of writing done. Maybe they just want to get it done to go onto another or they just feel they should finish it to go relax. Whatever the purpose of the writing is, you must always feel relaxed. Don't rush it. As you would aim to give a piece that is engaging and useful to the audience. For that reason, diligence is key. If you're tired, rest to continue after you're done resting. Use simple words
The aim of any write-up is to convey a message. And if you intend writing for an audience, you want them to get your message as clearly as possible without ambiguity. This is how a writing should be. Simple and comprehensible. Infact when a writing cannot be comprehended, it really does not engage the writer because it is not communicating or the dots are not exactly connecting. So, stick to the use of simple words as the more the audience can get the meaning of the words easily the more they can comprehend.
Format texts in a readable format
There are different text formats and alignment patterns. The aim of all that is to help reader easily read the texts. Use clear heading to outline your points. And use bullet points to list. Use paragraphs to talking different ideas, scene, or time. By doing all that, a reader can approach your article in a most convenient way and easily pick out a point or two that he/she would find be useful.
Give it an attractive tittle
A tittle is like an outer garment in which a body is covered. A reader cannot just walk to your article and wants to read. Something must bring them to it. Sometimes write-ups with fantastic content fails to get a good view because their are not attractive title to draw them in, to read. It is the tittle that is first seen and it more powerful if it is short and meaningful.
