Thorns and Roses

Our life on earth is like a roller coaster, sometimes you are at the top, then later on you are on the ground. Each day has different surprises that bring us by this life. And it sometimes makes us feel down low and sometimes it gives us happiness. There are a lot of thorns in life that we have each day, just like the pandemic, it's a thorn that changes our lives and even our lifestyle. But it makes us realize what matters in life, and makes us value life, relationship, safety, and health. Thorns are present not just to cause us harm and pain but also helps us to be strong and teach us to be resilient as a person. We cannot deny that most of the time as much as possible we don't want to step on thorns along the way. This means that every success and victorious moment in life consists of hard work and effort. An aspiring policeman must undergo training for how many months before he can become an official police officer. But let me remind the training that he undergoes is not an easy task physically, emotionally, mentally. A runner who wants to join an Olympic needs to train for how many months before the big event. Every athlete needs self discipline so that they can be a winner. Self-discipline What does it takes to have a self discipline?Since this life full of thorns , we need to have a self armor to win this battle. Self discipline is related to taking charge of our self distinctive character and behavior which will affect us in dealing with our lives opponents. What are these characters? Anger Self-discipline is related to controlling our anger, which will destroy every relationship and even break us if we will not able to deal with it. Yes, human being is capable of feeling anger since it is a part of our human nature but the crucial part of it is when we came to the point of destructive with our life , like a broken relationship, and failure in our specific field of work because we are occupied by feeling anger. Selfishness We are all like a sailor, we sail in a long way of the ocean, and while we are in this journey we need to help each other to grow stronger.Selfishness of a person will make him depart from a group, a relationship and even avoided by a companion.No one wants to be friend or even companionship with people like this.Or even receive good treatment from other people because of being selfish. This is a thorn of human life that we need to defeat, or can we call it an innate human character that we need to fight with. Unrespectful There is a saying that no man is an island. What does it mean? We cannot survive alone, or living alone on this beautiful planet believe it or not we need someone to be with. Like having a business you cannot do business without anybody else, a teacher, a broadcaster. Showing respect is an essence and based foundation of a relationship. When a person doesn't show it to anyone around him like a co-worker, an employer classmate, friends, or loved ones the tendency might keep themselves away from you. People cannot resist being with people who doesn't show respect. Unloving Loved is a very essential part of this life journey. You will never survive without love. Whatever you do or what life may bring you , love will give you a fire to become effective and brings good results in life commitments. Our existence in this life is not an accident or a big epic fail but it exist with purpose.Realizing the fact that whatever voyage we have today therein we can find our lives sense and purpose of living.Thorns are always present like roses, you can never call it rose if it doesn't have thorns in it.It is a part of its identity to be called as rose because of it's thorns.Same as life , it is full af struggles and circumstances along the way ,it is a part of the beauty of life itself, you cannot call it life without , tears, joy, and happiness.
