Today is the birthday of my close friend in college. Happy birthday Jojo. It was on the same day, Feb 8th, 3 years ago when he invited 2 of his close college friends to join him and his wife to celebrate his birthday at his hometown in Palompon ,Leyte. I agreed because it has been my dream to reach this place especially the island called Kalanggaman Island located a few minutes boat ride from Palompon. On the last minute,our other classmate backed out so I was the only representative from our batch who can join. It was a grand celebration because his birthday was held at the Kalanggaman Island. He was surrounded by his family and few chosen friends. His wife arranged a special boat for us to go to the island. The boat staff and guide also prepared our food. It was a very memorable occasion. I was very glad to join my friend, his wife and his family on this special day. I took this panoramic photo of the sandbar filled with white broken shells.
