Who have I offended here on this platform that hates me so much to spam all my account. My account has been spammed again and I don't know who o offended. All I wanted is just express my thoughts through writing and someone here is making it difficult for me. I'm very devastated right now😑. My account has been spammed again sir @mictorrani @greatwolfman @wisdom007
There’s Nothing Wrong with Being on Your Own Sorry guys my article is a little bit late. I was tired yesterday and wanted to write but I slept off due to stress from School. I'm in my final year so I'm facing exam and project issues these days that always makes me go home exhausted. Hope you all have been good and healthy. And also have a bright day ahead of you all. Today I will be writing about ***"There's nothing wrong with being on your own"*** To be sincere I've always been like this and I have gathered more enemies day by day just because I just always want to be on my own. Some will say "oh he is so proud" and some people all sort of things just because I want to be on my own. Is that a crime? If people need my help and come to me I do the best I can and I'm caring, passionate and kind but I just don't want to associate with people because I'm not ready to, all I just want for now is to work, enjoy my life, laugh a little and be happy. So today I want to really clarify this and write on this for people that are in the same issues as me. `Check out my Amazing sponsors 👆 visit their profile and you will never regret it.` ********************************** In the privacy of our minds, one thought – highly shameful by nature – may haunt us as we evaluate whether to stay in or leave an unsatisfactory relationship: what if we were to end things and end up in a place of appalling loneliness? We’re meant to be above such pragmatic worries. Only cowards and reprobates would mind a few weekends (or decades) by themselves. We’ve heard of those books that sing the praises of solitude (the divorcee who relocated to a solitary hut on a bare Scottish island; the one who went sailing around the world in a dinghy). But we can admit that we’re not naturals at this sort of thing: there have been empty days when we almost lost our minds. There was one trip that we took on our own years back that was, behind the scenes, a psychological catastrophe. We’re not really in a position to wave away the dangers of being left alone on our rock. But without wishing to play down the dangers unduly, there are nevertheless one or two things we might learn to weaken our fears. We can begin with a simple observation: it’s typically a lot worse to be on our own on a Saturday than on a Monday night; and a lot worse to be alone over the festive period than to be alone at the end of the tax year. The physical reality and the length of time we’re by ourselves may be identical, but the feeling that comes with being so is entirely different. This apparently negligible observation holds out a clue for a substantial solution to loneliness. The difference between the Saturday and the Monday night comes down to the contrast between what being alone appears to *mean* on the two respective dates. On a Monday night, our own company feels like it brings no judgement in its wake, it doesn’t in any way depart from the norms of respectable society, it’s what’s expected of decent people at the start of a busy week: we get back from work, make some soup, catch up on the post, do some emails and order a few groceries, without any sense of being unusual or cursed. The next day, when a colleague asks us what we got up to, we can relate the truth without any hot prickles of shame. It was – after all – just a Monday night. But Saturday night finds us in a far more perilous psychological zone: we scan our phone for any sign of a last minute invitation, we flick through the channels in an impatient and disconsolate haze, we are alive to our own tragedy as we eat tuna from a can, we take a long bath at 8.30pm to try to numb the discomfort inside with scalding heat on the outside; and as we prepare to turn out the light just after ten, the high-spirited cries of revellers walking by our house seem to convey a targeted tone of mockery and pity. On Monday morning, we pass over the whole horrid incident with haste. From this we conclude: being alone is bearable in relation to how ‘normal’ (that highly nebulous yet highly influential concept) the condition feels to us at any given point; it can either be a break from an honourably busy life, or sure evidence that we are an unwanted, wretched, disgusting and emotionally diseased being. This is tricky but ultimately very hopeful, for it suggests that if only we could work on what being alone means to us, we could theoretically end up as as comfortable in our own skin on a long summer Saturday night filled with the joyous cries of our fellow citizens as on the dreariest Monday in November, and we could spend the whole holiday season by ourselves feeling as relaxed and as unself-conscious as we did when we were a child and hung out for days by ourselves, tinkering with a project in the floor of our bedroom, with no thought in the world that anyone would as a result think us sad or shameful. We may not – after all – need a new companion (something which can be hard to find in a panic); we just need a new mindset (which we can take care of by ourselves, starting right now). To build ourselves a new mental model of what being alone should truly mean, we might rehearse a few of the following arguments: ***– Our Solitude is Willed*** Despite what an unfriendly voice inside our heads might tell us, we are the ones who have chosen to be alone. We could, had we so wanted, been in all sorts of company. Our solitude is – though it may not feel like it – willed rather than imposed. No one ever needs to be alone so long as they don’t mind who they are with. But we do mind, and we have some very good reasons to do so. The wrong kind of company is a great deal lonelier for us than being by ourselves, that is, it’s further from what matters to us, more grating in its insincerity and more of a reminder of disconnection and misunderstanding than is the conversation we can have in the quiet of our own minds. It’s not that we have been rejected by the world; it’s that we’ve taken a good look at the available options and have – with wisdom – done some rejecting ourselves. ***– Beware the outward signs of Companionship*** It seems, from a distance, as if everyone is having an ecstatic time. The Party (what we imagine in our darkest moments to be the unitary joyous social event from which we’ve been blocked) grips our imaginations. We’ve passed the restaurants and seen the groups leaning back on their chairs and laughing uproariously, we’ve seen the couples holding hands and the families packing up for their glorious holidays abroad. And we know the depths of fun that are unfolding. But we need to hold on to what we recognise in our sober moments is a more complicated reality: that there is naturally going to be alienation at the restaurant, bitterness in the couples and despair in the sunny island hotels. We picture intimacy and communion, deep understanding and the most sophisticated varieties of kindness. We are sure that ‘everyone’ is having precisely what we understand by true love. But they are not. They will for the most part be together but still alone, they will be talking but largely not heard. Isolation and grief are not unique to us; they are a fundamental part of the human experience, they trail every member of our species, whether in couples or alone, life is a hellish and anxious business for all of us; we’ve chosen to experience the pains of existence by ourselves for now, but having a partner has never protected anyone from the void for very long. We should take care to drown our own individual sorrows in the ocean of a redemptive and darkly funny universal pessimism. No one is particularly much enjoying the journey; we are not built that way. As we should never have allowed ourselves to forget in front of the steamed up windows of restaurants, life simply is suffering for most of us for most of the time. ***– We get statistics wrong*** To compound our errors, we are the most hopeless statisticians. We should pin a notice to our kitchen wall reminding us of just this fact. We say that ‘everyone’ is happy, and ‘everyone’ is in a couple. But we haven’t taken the first steps towards properly evaluating what is going on in a factual sense. We are letting self-disgust, not mathematics, decide our vision of ‘normality’. If we really surveyed the question, if we grew wings and went up and examined the city, swooping in on this bedroom here and that office there, those families in the park and that couple on a date, we’d see something altogether different. We’d see millions of others like us and far far worse: this one crying over a letter, that one shouting they’ve had enough, this one complaining that they can’t be understood, that one weeping in the bathroom over an argument. It is regrettable enough to be sad, we don’t need to compound the misery by telling ourselves – through an absurd misunderstanding of statistics – that it is abnormal to be so. ***– There is nothing shameful in what we’re doing*** Our images of being alone lack dignity. We need better role models. Those on their own aren’t always the cobwebbed hunched figures of our nightmares. Some of the greatest people who have ever lived have chosen, for a variety of noble reasons, to spend a lot of time by themselves. For our own self-compassion, we need to keep the difference between enforced and willed solitude firmly in consciousness. Here is a world-reknown scientist, spending twenty years on their own to finish a book that will change everything. Here is one of the most beautiful people nature has yet produced, alone in their room, playing the piano. Here is a politician who once led the nation, now preferring their own company. Those who are by themselves don’t comprise only the desperate cases, they number many of those one would feel most privileged to meet. ***– Understand your past*** The sense of shame you experience at being in your own company is coming from somewhere very particular: your own childhood, and in particular, from an unloveable vision of yourself that you picked up in the early years. Somewhere in the past, someone left you feeling unworthy and now, whenever you suffer a reversal, the story is ready to re-emerge, confirming what you think is a fundamental truth about you: that you don’t deserve to exist. It’s not essentially that you’re afraid of being lonely; it’s that you don’t like yourself very much – for which the cure is immense sympathy and psychotherapeutic understanding but not, it seems, the company of a partner you no longer care for or respect. Once we can like ourselves more, we won’t need to be so scared of friendship with ourselves; we will know that others aren’t laughing at us cruelly and that there is no delightful party we’ve been barred from. We’ll appreciate that we can be both on our own and a fully dignified, legitimate member of the human race. We’ll have conquered the terror of loneliness – and therefore at last be in a position to assess our options correctly and chose freely whether to stay in or leave a relationship we’re in. Humans beings just prefer to be shallow in mind to the extent they never want to know the reason you decided to be alone, they just concluded on there own to think of whatever they want to about you but that's not your problem since everyone is allowed to think of whatever they want to but just to end it here ***being alone has alot more in it than what people think.*** I want to use this moment to inform my sponsors that my account has been spammed again and I don't know who hate me so much to do this to me😑 @Greatwolfman @Mictorrani @Freedom007 This is my new account if you wish to follow @WalexGrace4967 but I may not be writing any article for now just to clear my head of the challenges I'm facing on this platform. Thank you all😑

MintMe.com: Where crypto tokens, crowdfunding, and trading are created Apologies to everyone for writing late today. Today I won't be writing much because I have been too exhausted from today's work but there's something I want to share with you guys today. I hope you find it helpful. I discovered a website few days ago where you can create your own tokens free and crowdfund to increase it popularity and worth. That's why you see so much tokens and cryptocurrency outside now owned by people you don't even know. Anyone can own a token through this website. **cr**ypto tokens are a type of cryptocurrency that represent an asset or specific use and reside on their blockchain. These tokens can be used for investment purposes, to store value or to make purchases. They can be traded worldwide, offering financial freedom and providing previously unknown profit possibilities. A common way to get crypto tokens is through cryptocurrency exchanges. These are platforms that facilitate trades across different coins and tokens, manage various wallets, check the value of each crypto, and facilitate the process of sending and receiving currency. MintMe.com is one of these platforms where you can buy and sell crypto tokens, but it also allows anyone to **create a crypto token**, and fundraise their projects and personal ideas in just a few steps. http://www.mintme.com/ Fundraising has been around for as long as people have been kickstarting their businesses. Even if your startup idea sounds incredible on paper you might struggle to find support from banks, government grants, and even regular peer-to-peer loans. As an entrepreneur, you might also struggle to find the public who could find such products or services appealing. MintMe.com presents itself as a crypto crowdfunding service that facilitates the process of **how to create your own cryptocurrency** for free and it allows you to represent your brand or idea, and have your followers, or interested people, buying these tokens. http://www.mintme.com/ The platform of MintMe also allows the token creators to interact and get to know their supporters through their social features. Potential investors can also use the same social features to learn more about the token, its proposal, services, or ideas, and interact with the token creator or its supporters. This means that the tokens created are a digital representation of your personal/original ideas and can therefore be customized. Personal monetization and mutual support are the bases that build this service. Blockchain crowdfunding is not just another fundraising method in which people gamble their money away or blindly toss it towards an internet personality they like, it instead presents an ecosystem in which people could give on their own terms, and in exchange, become holders of a token that can regain value, or even create a coin for themselves. Mintme unifies crowdfunding, trading, and customizable tokens. By creating a crowdfunding campaign on MintMe with the use of tokens, everyone can be able to share exclusive content that can be exchanged for the purchase of their token. The Four Faces of Luck As much as I want to visit everyone's article today unfortunately I was not able to do that but I will try my best. You all should know I can't visit and view all your articles but as much as I also like not to see red bell-like notification popping up everytime makes me feel guilty or less serious, like I have an uncompleted job to finish. So I use this moment to apologize to you all that I have not visited, view or interact with to please bear with me I will try my possible best to improve on that. So today I will be writing about the "***Four Faces of Luck"*** So stay tuned and you will never regret this moment. ********************************** *Luck is probability taken personally.* The words *luck* and *lucky* are used in several ways, and I find it most useful to distinguish four usages. In everyday language, luck means "good luck", while in our general discussion, "luck" will refer to either good luck or bad luck; in practice this shouldn't cause any confusion. I will try to frame the topic by explainng the four usages, and say a little about academic literature. Incidently, the current Wikipedia article on "Luck"is pretty bad -- someone please edit! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luck Four usages of Luck 1. Luck as superstition This is typified by the belief that future good or bad luck can be influenced by such things as: actions that one might do deliberately (blowing out all the candles of a birthday cake) or accidently (breaking a mirror) or that happen near you (black cat) or even by abstract associations (the number 13); or possession of talismanic objects. Here I have used American examples but all cultures have their own superstitions. What makes such beliefs be superstition, of course, is that one can't point to any causal connection. I mentioned "future events", but believing that past bad luck was caused by a hex would be another superstition. I don't have anything new to say on the topic; **the book Believing in Magic: The Psychology of Superstition** by Stuart Vyse gives a reader-friendly account of one psychologists's view. 2. Retrospective luck A short definition of (good) luck is when the outcome of a chance event is favorable to the individual under consideration. Most of us, looking at our individual past experiences, would find instances where we consider we were lucky or unlucky, and this is what I mean by "**retrospective Luck**". The link goes to my analysis (which enlarges upon the comments below) of a discussion of luck in everyday life by the philosopher Nicholas Rescher. In particular, Rescher suggests the following taxonomy. Windfalls or wind thefts Unforeseeable lost or gained opportunities Accidents Narrow escapes or flukish victimizations Coincidences (e.g. "being in the wrong place at the wrong time") Consequence-laden mistakes in identification or classification Fortuitous encounters Welcome or unwelcome anomalies (in generally predictable matters). On first reading this list I was skeptical -- the categories are somewhat vague and overlapping, and were based on hypothetical examples -- but they actually do well on real examples, at least after adding two more categories: Other people's actions (when you have little influence on them) having (un)favorable consequences for you Once-in-a-lifetime deliberate risk-taking that works out well or badly. All this refers to *memorable* instances of luck, rather than day-to-day instances of minor good or bad luck that we quickly forget. 3. Luck as seizing future opportunity One of my favorite quotes is *Chance favors the prepared mind*. Louis Pasteur This reminds us that the word *chance* is often used to mean *opportunity*, as in Here is a chance to invest in Ji'an's yam powder and forest frog fat(sic). But looking for discussion of the idea of maximizing your future opportunity leads one into a morass of "how to succeed in business" and pop-psych self-help books. One book that mostly avoids the morass is The Luck Factor by the psychologist Richard Wiseman. The book is based in part upon interviews with several hundred people who self-describe as being extremely lucky or unlucky. He expresses his conclusions as four principles with **twelve subprinciples**: the link goes to a complete list and my further analysis. http://www.ckc.mofcom.gov.cn/ciweb/kcc/info/Article.jsp?a_no=79742&col_no=751 http://www.amazon.com/Luck-Factor-Richard-Wiseman/dp/0786869143/ref=sip_rech_dp_10 http://www.richardwiseman.com/ Lucky people create, notice and act upon the chance opportunities in their lives, Lucky people make successful decisions by using their intuition and gut feelings. Lucky people's expectations about the future help them fulfill their dreams and ambitions. Lucky people are able to transform their bad luck into good fortune. My basic critique is that this (as implicit advice) isn't really about luck at all; any set of maxims on the topic "how adopting a positive attitude towards life will help lead to success" would include such advice. Anyway, it is interesting to contrast this psychologist's advice with the more "philosophical" advice by Rescher: Be realistic in judgements (evaluate the probabilities and utilities as objectively as you can) Be realistic in expectations (there is only so much one can do) Be prudently adventuresome (don't be so risk-averse as to lose out on opportunities) Be cautiously optimistic. 4. Separating skill from luck as contributors to success xxx to be discussed elsewhere. So what is luck, anyway? The discussion above indicates the difficulty is saying what *luck* is; the word really is used with different meanings. But let us return to the context of "retrospective luck" and first repeat the earlier short definition of (good) luck: (*) when the outcome of a chance event is favorable to the individual under consideration. This reminds us that, in contrast to other words associated with chance, *luck* is almost always used in reference to an individual person. Everything we would call (good) luck fits (*), but not everything fitting (*) would be counted as luck, so can we refine (*)? Consider the following 4 characteristics of an event. it involves chance, in the particular senses of *unpredictable* and *outside the control* of the individual; it is unlikely; it has a substantial impact on the individual; it is an event that happens at a particular time (rather than an ongoing "state of affairs"). I regard these as determining the core concept of *luck*, in that (i) almost any event with all 4 characteristics would be regarded as luck (ii) Most iconic or **hypothetical examples of luck**, such as the linked list from Rescher, do indeed have all 4 characteristics. It is easy to find examples without one of the last three characteristics that one would still call *luck*; I do not see any sharp borderline between this core notion and the overly broad notion (*). If an outcome is lucky, then it is an outcome that is significant to the agent concerned. If an outcome is lucky then it is an outcome which occurs in the actual world but which does not occur in most of the nearest possible worlds to the actual world (worlds which most resemble the actual world). The former is my (3). The latter just seems a rather confused way to say *unlikely*; or rather it is saying "unlikely, even conditional on knowing that everything not closely affecting the outcome". But I see no virtue in replacing the usual "conditional on what you know initially", implicit in any real-world discussion of chance, with a "possible worlds" story. `This article is specially written in honour of one of my sponsors @mictorrani because he is a specialist in areas like this` Let me also use this moment to flaunt my sponsors and also to thank everyone that has been supporting me and never gave up on me since day one. Thank you all. Thanks for reading 🤗 Hope to see you next time.
There's something I want to talk about here. I want you all to understand that I am not perfect because I noticed some changes on my profile. If you think I offend you or owe you anything, feel free to tell me about it and I will apologies or make corrections but envy or hate won't solve the problem. We are all human beings and we tend to forget things and make mistakes because that's what makes us human and I want to apologize to everyone I have not visited or given attention, you all should understand that I can't do it all I will only try my best and leave the rest. Please we are here to support, grow and communicate with each other so perhaps I have anyone anything and I have not done it please remind me of it. I apologize if I have also offended anyone without my knowledge. Thank you.
Message To Africa and the World *I stumbled on this news some couple of weeks ago but due to my formal account being spammed I forgot to write something about it. While scrolling through my phone's gallery and I stumbled on this picture again and decided to write something about it today.* Isn't this disheartening. Can you see the picture above and yet we have so many billionaires and prominent people in Africa and the world. Don't you feel heartbroken seeing that image?, and yet we live everyday like nothing is wrong in the world. I know we can't help everyone but atleast we can reduce the poverty status of this world by working together. First I call out the wealthy and prominent men of the world, and also the youth but first let me talk to the wealthy men first then come back to the youth. As for the wealthy men, you all won't say you don't see what is going on In the world especially Africa or you all just decided to ignore it. I know some of you are really trying but it is not enough if every one of you do not participate in eradicating poverty in Africa perhaps the world entirely. You may ignore and think this does not concern you but you fail to realise that these starving children `[image above]`Can also be your family or offspring, if tables were to be turned. So why didn't you volunteer for the humanitarian program and play your part. Do you really have conscience at all?! As for the youth, we all have decided to add to the problem of this world by making things more worst because of our ignorant behaviour and lack of discipline. Not every degree is acquired in school and not everything is learnt in class. Infact most of the things we know today is from our environment and social interaction. I know many of us must have heard or seen different kinds of degree and honours been awarded to people that didn't even go to school at all and not all of it is bought but some are earned as a result of hardwork and humanitarian services they have provided or volunteered for the world. So why are you wasting your precious time as youth thinking probably because you're not brilliant or intelligent enough so you can't contribute to anything in the world huh?. There's a reason why God gave us the power of thinking and the brain to guide us to make the right decisions but we tend to ignore that always. If you can't use your brain actively, you should be able to use it passively meaning that you may not be brilliant or intelligent in school but you shouldn't just think you're useless but rather venture into other things that are skill related or talent or even any humanitarian services. You shouldn't just afford to be totally useless because God did not create anybody to be useless, everyone has a purpose in this world. So if we want to make this world better we all have to stand up as youth and for that fact the youth dominate 80percent of the world so we have the power to change this world but we are just to lazy to stand up and speak. Rather most of us decided to o live a meaningless life without purpose living a lavish lifestyle, engaging in meaningless flings and trends everyday, squandering your money anyhow whereas there are people out there who would really need and will appreciate your help alot. If you think you and your family is okay, then there's nothing else for you to worry about then you need to ask yourself this question. "*What positive part have I played in the situation of this world?"* If you have an answer to it then you have really done your part but if not then there's still alot for you to do. Youth! Why did you decide to waste your life all in the name of lifestyle. I later find out one of the reason for my sadness everyday is because I couldn't help as much people as I can everyday. I know I can't satisfy Everyone or do it all but I just feel sad everytime when I think of how this world is becoming more worst and there is nothing I can do to help. Some people think I have a disorder for isolating myself but I later realized that I can't just stand anything bad and also think that God connect my spirit and soul to the world, so as long as the world get worst, my pain increase and so many restless night up and bitterly weeping, sometimes I thought my heart is going to fallout of my chest. I so much care about making a noticeable positive impact in the world but there's just too much people that Is ready or already pulling me down.i don't know why we have normalize immorality and bad act in this world to the extent that we don't even remember that God really exist. My heart cracks and cry everytime I hear or see bad news like this everyday. In a nutshell I may not have been so expressive enough but I know you guys will understand why I am venting out my displeasure so much on this. So I use this moment to beg and urge everyone both the wealthy, rich, poor and the youth to unite and help this world become better. I believe in numbers because I know number is power so if the good people on earth can outnumber the bad ones I believe there's going to be a positive change in this world. ***“****the wealthy and rich should be mindful and the youth should be serious for a better future ahead****”*** And also thanks to my wonderful sponsors. If not for their love and support I wouldn't be here today. They are so amazing. Thanks for reading 🤗 Hope to see you next time.

If you want to sound more confident? Avoid these 11 words and phrases that make you look weak There are some words we use that we don't know makes us look week. So I will be revealing some of those words to you in this article and also categorised it into eleven. I wish you all learn from this. So let's begin. ********************************** In such a competitive world, the last thing you need to do is undercut yourself. But that’s what a lot of us are doing when we communicate in ways that make us sound less confident, less determined, and less sure of ourselves. But there’s an effective solution: Swap out weak words and phrases for ones that will make you come across as more professional and capable. Due to my research and studies, here’s what psychologists, linguists, recruiters and CEOs say you should avoid using if you want to get ahead, along with simple replacements that will make a big difference in how you are perceived: 1. “Does that make sense?” **What to say instead:** “What are your thoughts?” or “I’d like your input on this.” If you ask “Does that make any sense?” after you’ve finished sharing a thought, you’re immediately giving the impression that you’re not convinced yourself, that your idea might be incomplete. Rather than seeking validation or approval, you should be asking the listener or reader for their opinions on your idea. 2. “Maybe we should try ...” **What to say instead:** “Let’s try…” or “It’s a good idea to try…” Up until the mid-19th century, “maybe” was written as two words — “may” and “be” — which makes it clear that it literally refers to something that might happen, but might not. That’s pretty wishy-washy when you apply it to your own ideas or suggestions. Either you believe in what you’re talking about, or you don’t. 3. “I think this would ...” **What to say instead:** “I believe this would …” This is a minor distinction, but a valid one: “I think” sounds weaker than “I believe,” and is a little more doubtful, as if you’re saying something *might* work, but you’re not sure. “I believe” puts you in charge of the thought and conveys a calm surety. And even if you’re not so sure at all, no one needs to know that! 4. “I’m not positive, but …” or “I’m not sure, but …” **What to say instead**: Whatever you were going to say after the “but” You don’t need to add disclaimers. Similarly, if you start your sentence with “I know this might be a stupid question, but …” or “I don’t want to sound pushy, but …,” you’re undermining yourself. It’s an easy rule that bears repeating: Don’t put yourself down. Ever. 5. “I just wanted to touch base ...” **What to say instead**: “I wanted to touch base ...” How many times have you started an email with “Just wanted to ask you if …”? The problem in this case is that the “just” is a softener — almost an apology, as if you’re saying, “I hate to bother you, but …” There’s a time and a place for that, but business communication generally isn’t. 6. “Needless to say ...” **What to say instead**: Nothing “Needless to say” comes from a long line of ironic phrases where you open a topic by saying you’re not going to say something, but then say it anyway. So why do it? 7. “In my opinion ...” **What to say instead**: Nothing Cut to the chase and remove the unnecessary, weak intros. Whoever is listening to you or reading what you’ve written knows that it’s your opinion or your belief. That’s why you’re telling them whatever you’re telling them! 8. “For what it’s worth …” **What to say instead**: Nothing This is another intro that makes it sound as if you’re not convinced yourself about what you’re saying. And if you’re not convinced about your point, why should anyone else be? 9. “Sorry” **What to say instead**: “Excuse me” It’s fine to apologize if you’ve done something wrong and need to own up to it, but too many people toss in a “sorry” and wind up weakening their image. Why say “Sorry to bother you,” when a simple “Excuse me” is shorter, snappier and less self-deprecating? Psychologist suggest that people tend to think those who overuse “I’m sorry” are ineffectual and lack confidence. If you need more convincing, keep in mind that from the 13th century on, the word “sorry” was used to mean “wretched” or “worthless.” Another similar one to avoid: “I hate to ask, but …” Just ask! "Excuse me" let me flaunt my wonderful sponsors a bit they are amazing writers too, check them out.👇 10. ”[X] was developed to increase [X].” **What to say instead**: “I developed [X] to increase [X].” “I developed [X] to increase [X]” sounds more confident because it uses the active voice instead of passive voice. With the passive voice, the subject has something done to it; with the active, the subject is doing the action. So if you created a new marketing campaign to increase brand awareness, why not use the active voice and take credit for it up front? 11. ”... if you know what I mean” **What to say instead**: Nothing We’ve seen so many people end sentences with “if you know what I mean,” or its truncated near-twin “know what I mean?” If you’re one of them, stop now. It’s a filler phrase that means nothing — and actually irritates a lot of people. Along the same lines, avoid starting sentences with puffy phrases like “It’s important to note that …” All you’re doing is adding useless words. Know what we mean? Thanks for reading 🤗 See you next time.
Here's My Top Cryptocurrency to Buy in November **Key Points** The cryptocurrency market is still red hot in November. And it's not too late to bet on the next best thing. Solana has some massive advantages in transaction speed and scalability. ********************************** October was a big month for cryptocurrency as the market's total value soared almost 30% to $2.7 trillion. Hype-driven meme coins like **Shiba Inu** led the expansion. But over the long term, assets that introduce technical innovations are likely to outperform because they have more potential uses. Let's explore why **Solana** (**CRYPTO:SOL**) fits the bill and why it's my top cryptocurrency to buy in November. https://www.fool.com/quote/crypto/sol/ What is Solana? Launched in 2019, Solana now has a market cap of $75 billion. It is a public blockchain designed to facilitate development of decentralized applications (dApps). These complex programs use smart contracts to function without a centralized intermediary. And they support an array of use cases ranging from decentralized cryptocurrency exchanges to markets for non-fungible tokens. According to its official website, Solana's blockchain hosts 400 different dApp projects, with the number growing steadily. And the total value of Solana and its dApp ecosystem now stands at $105 billion (this figure includes Solana's native token and independent tokens programmed on its network), according to crypto-data aggregation website CoinGecko. DApps are important for Solana's value because they use the blockchain's native token, SOL, to transact on the network. What is Solana's competitive advantage? Solana is not the only blockchain network optimized for dApp development, and it competes with **Ethereum** to attract projects to its ecosystem. As the first blockchain to facilitate complex dApps, Ethereum enjoys a first-mover advantage, which has helped it to attract the lion's share of projects to its network -- over 3,000, according to data from CoinDesk. But Solana has some competitive advantages that will help it gain ground. Unlike Ethereum, which uses a **proof-of-work(poW) consensus mechanism** where miners solve puzzles to validate transactions and mint new coins, Solana uses a proof-of-stake (PoS) protocol. Its miners validate transactions using coins they own (a process called staking) in return for new coins. PoS is cheaper and more environmentally friendly than PoW because it doesn't require massive energy consumption. Solana further bolsters its network through a feature called proof-of-history, designed to speed up the blockchain by recording time. According to its website, Solana is the fastest blockchain on earth -- capable of handling 50,000 transactions per second compared to Ethereum's 13. And while Ethereum plans to transition to PoS through an update called Ethereum 2.0, it is unclear when the transition will go live -- making Solana a top choice for developers who prioritize scalability, and investors who want to bet on technology instead of hype. Investing for the long haul It is tempting to bet on meme coins because hype has made them soar. But these tokens lack fundamental advantages and could crash when the excitement fades. While cryptocurrencies are inherently difficult to value (they don't generate profits or cash flow), Solana could prove to be a better long-term investment because its advantages in transaction speed and scalability will attract dApp development. Haters and Critics: How to Deal with People Judging You and Your Work Hello everyone how are you all doing. Hope you are all doing great. *The inspiration behind this article today is from the fact that my formal account was spammed by someone I don't even know.* Firstly I want to thank my two formal sponsors @Greatwolfman and @Mictorrani they have been more than a family to me here. I never expected how they supported me and I'm still surprise until now that they care so much for me, the care I never had. I feel like crying right now but had to hold the tears. I really thank and appreciate you both for🙏 for having my back. It really means alot to me because I'm not used to someone caring so much for me like this because I have never been lucky until I met you both on this platform. Thanks so much. *********************************** The rule says "you can't offend or harm someone without knowing the person". So I didn't see the spamming of my formal account here @Olawale4967 as a mistake but an intentional action by someone I don't even know. No one will ever feel good working hard so much just to find out that someone is secretly destroying your hardwork. I just can't believe there are people who would hate another person so much to attack them through their hardwork but it's not new to me because I have always live my life watching my shoulders or my back, so I have already learn and grow the hard way so no matter what anyone does to me can never surprise me anymore. The motivation is to never give up which applies to the proverb that says "when you are knocked down, learn how to get back up. And I was never the type to give up easily without trying. Back to the reason for this article; ********************************** It doesn’t matter how you choose to live your life — whether you build a business or work a corporate job; have children or choose not to have children; travel the world or live in the same town all of your life; go to the gym 5 times a week or sit on the couch every night — whatever you do, someone will judge you for it. There will always be haters and difficult people. For one reason or another, someone will find a reason to project their insecurities, their negativity, and their fears onto you and your life, and you’ll have to deal with it. With that in mind, let’s talk about being judged and criticized. And just for fun, I’ll share some of the most hateful comments I’ve received on my articles. And more importantly, the strategies I use to deal with them. Here’s what I’ve learned about dealing with haters and the people who judge you, your work, and your goals. **The Biggest Critic in Your Life** It’s easier to complain about the outside critics, but the biggest critic in your life usually lives between your own two ears. Working up the courage to move past your own vulnerability and uncertainty is often the greatest challenge you’ll face on the way to achieving your goals. When I started my first business, it wasn’t the criticism from outsiders that held me back. It was my own mind worrying that people would think I was a loser because I skipped getting a “real job” to “start some website.” I didn’t tell most of my friends about what I was doing for almost a year because I was so worried about what they would think about it. When I started writing, it wasn’t the hurtful comments from readers that prevented me from getting started. It was my own fears about what they would think if I wrote about the things I cared about. I wrote my ideas in a private document for months before I worked up the courage to start sharing them publicly. Those are just two examples of the types of internal fears and criticism that so often prevent us from getting started on our goals. It can take a lifetime to learn that just because people criticize you doesn’t mean they really care about your choice to do something different. Usually, the haters simply criticize and move on. And that means that you can safely ignore them and continue doing your thing. But that is easier said than done because we all like to be validated. Some people like it more than others, but everyone wants to be respected and appreciated to some degree. I certainly do. I know that whenever I choose to take a risk and share my work with the world, I wonder about what my friends will think, what my family will think, and how the people around me will see me because of that choice. Will this help my reputation? Will this hurt my reputation? Should I even be worrying about my reputation? Especially with writing, these questions created an internal struggle for me. On one hand, I believed in myself and I knew that I wanted to contribute something to the world around me. But on the other hand, I was scared that people wouldn’t approve of my work and would criticize me when I started sharing the things I cared about or believed. **Focus on the Road, Not the Wall** Many racing experts consider Mario Andretti to be the most successful and versatile racing driver of all-time. During his career, Andretti won the Indianapolis 500, Daytona 500, Formula One World Championship and the Pike’s Peak International Hill Climb. He is one of only two drivers in history to win races in Formula One, IndyCar, World Sportscar Championship, and NASCAR. During an interview with SUCCESS magazine, Andretti was asked for his number one tip for success in race car driving. He said, “Don’t look at the wall. Your car goes where your eyes go.” When young drivers are starting to race, this is one of the most critical lessons that they learn. When you’re driving at 200mph you need to focus on the road in front of you. If you look at the wall, then you’ll end up hitting it. The same could be said for your life, your work, and dealing with haters and critics. Criticism and negativity from difficult people is like a wall. And if you focus on it, then you’ll run right into it. You’ll get blocked by negative emotions, anger, and self-doubt. Your mind will go where your attention is focused. Criticism and negativity don’t prevent you from reaching the finish line, but they can certainly distract you from it. However, if you focus on the road in front of you and on moving forward, then you can safely speed past the walls and barriers that are nearby. This is my preferred approach to criticism. When someone dishes out a negative comment, use that as a signal to recommit to your work and to refocus on the road ahead of you. Some people are determined to take things personally and tear down the work of others. Your life is too short to worry about pleasing those difficult people. Focus on the road, not the wall. **How to Respond to Haters** In rare circumstances, you may want to respond to the people who dish criticism your way. If that’s the case, then I think Gary Vaynerchuk provides a good example of how to do it. When Vaynerchuk published his best-selling book *Crush It*, he received dozens of 1-star and 2-star reviews on Amazon. Negative reviewers claimed that the book was “absolutely awful” and called it a “piece of crap with no value whatsoever.” And this was for a book that was a best-seller! Rather than fight back and justify his work, Gary decided to respond to many of the negative reviews with a sincere apology. For example, a reader named Frank left a 1-star review for the book in which he complained, “How did this book ever get published?” Vaynerchuk responded to him by saying… "Frank I am so so sorry I under delivered for you, I hope to meet u and spend 15 minutes apologizing and answering any questions u may have, I guess I needed more details in there for u, I am so sorry". Despite using grammar from a high school text message, Vaynerchuk ended up getting Frank’s number and called him to talk things over. After their conversation, Frank wrote a followup comment on his book review saying, “If Amazon had a people ranking system, I’d have to give Gary 5 stars. One can not help being impressed by someone who gets back to you so quickly and handles criticism so graciously.” If you’re going to respond to your haters and critics, then getting a response like that should be your goal. Rather than beating the haters back with insults, win them back with sincerity. Most people don’t want to be convinced that your work is wonderful, they just want to know that you care. I have learned from so many experiences in my life. Nobody will believe I am still in my 20s but the experience I have had in my life is worth to be a 70years old judging by age. It has never been easy as a lone wolf from the start until now which is why people's action don't surprise me anymore be I have learned the hard way and fully prepared for the journey I am destined to embark on in this life. The reason why I wrote this article is not to call out the person that spammed my account but to learn from it and improve myself because I learn from everything both failure and success which is the reason why I don't celebrate success which so much physical appearance or even failure too. All I do is just smile and celebrate inside me and also thinking of things I learned from it at the same time. Life for me is a journey that you have to keep embarking on until you die so I always believed that there are still more work to do even when I celebrate my success or mourn my failures. **Where to Go From Here** I’ve said this many times before, but it bears repeating: I don’t really have anything figured out. I’m not an expert and I don’t have all the answers. I’m still learning to deal with criticism like everyone else. But in my limited experiences, here’s what I can summarize about dealing with difficult people and haters. First and foremost, don’t be the hater. Don’t be the person who tears down someone else’s hard work. The world needs more people who contribute their gifts and share their work and ideas. Working up the courage to do that can be tough. Support the people who display that courage. If you’re dealing with criticism, then don’t let the wall keep you from seeing the road. Focus on the path ahead. Another way I heard it put recently, “Ignore the boos. They usually come from the cheap seats.” If you choose to respond to the haters, then surprise them with kindness. You might just win a new fan while you’re at it. Finally, and most importantly, make the choices that are right for you. People will criticize you either way.
