Sopotnica waterfalls for the end of the adventure. Our trip on mountain bikes took place in some of the most beautiful areas and canyons around the mountain Jadovnik. In the evening, tired but satisfied, we reached one of the most beautiful natural monuments in all of Serbia - Sopotnica Waterfall. These waterfalls really need to be experienced. They consist of cascades that are in the first place in Serbia in terms of the height of the fall and the amount of water. The highest waterfall is 25 meters high, and the others are 20 meters high each. The total fall that the river makes is a staggering 270 meters, but from the location where we were, it is possible to see only half of this fall. The steep flow of the river occurs both above and below the waterfall. In the nearby village of Sopotnica, tourism is very developed. This area is known for pears, which are used to make excellent brandy or fruit syrup.
