Another scene from the Lake Hallstatt in Austria It was quite interesting to me that Lake Hallstatt was named after the historic village of Hallstatt, which is located on the shores of the lake. It is usually the other way around, that smaller geographical determinants are named after larger ones. As I hike to the village of Hallstatt, many beautiful scenes of the lake under the snow caught my attention.
