Basilica di San Nicola, Bari, Italy According to the legend, Saint Nicola had chosen Bari as his burial place while passing by on his way to Rome. After his death, there was great competition for his relics between Venice and Bari. In 1087 his relics were safely landed at Bari. Ada Bojana is a river island that forms at the mouth of the Bojana River in the Adriatic Sea.
