𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞. (1 Corinthians 16:14 NASB) In a world that is beseiged with fear, selfishness, competition, and pride we are discouraged to think that goodness still exist. But that is not so. For we are created by the God of love out of love hence, we should make love the reason of our existence. St. Paul in his letter to the Corinthians reminds us continually to put love in all that we do. We don't need to do great things just to show our love for one another and the creation. In the daily life that we live according to our capacity, in whatever status in life we are in, love should be the motif of all our actions. We can do this by keeping in mind that golden rule: "In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you." (Matthew 7:12 NASB) Moreover, St. Thérèse of Lisieux taught us in her small ways to "miss no single opportunity of making some small sacrifice, here by a smiling look, there by a kindly word; always doing the smallest right and doing it all for love" because "without love, deeds, even the most brilliant, count as nothing."
