Plant business here in the Philippines boom amid pandemic. Wherever I go here in my hometown I always see a bunch of plants on display that is for sale specially the ornamental ones. Behind this surge is the rise in number of noob Plantita/s (plant + tita <auntie>) and plantito/s (plant + tito <uncle>). They are women and men who find joy and fulfillment in gardening. Thus emerged this business opportunity. There is actual currency not in growing money plants but in selling them.
