•Bitter Gourd In Coconut Cream• Hello guys. I'm back. This time I would like to share to you my Sunday's recipe. By the way, our region is known for a cuisine that is enriched with coconut milk/cream. Can you guess now from which region I come from?😉 So today I prepared the above dish. I added dried fish for a distinct fish flavor and bits of pork for additional protein. I also put carrots for a colorful effect and green chili pepper for additional aroma.😍 ◇Ingredients◇ ▪︎Bitter gourd ▪︎Carrots ▪︎Dried fish ▪︎Pork meat ▪︎Coconut cream ▪︎Onions ▪︎Garlic ▪︎Green chili ▪︎Salt ▪︎Sugar ▪︎Fish sauce ¿HOW TO COOK? ¤ Put into the pan the coconut cream, pork meat (pre fried), dried fish, onions, garlic, and the seasonings. Adjust the taste accordingly. ¤ Cook in low fire while stirring occasionaly until the sauce thickens. ¤ Add the thinly sliced bitter gourd (amargosso, ampalaya, or paliya), carrots, and green chili pepper. ¤ Simmer until tender. *** ¡NOTE! ☆ Take out the dried fish ahead when it has soften before adding the vegetables to avoid messing your dish with fish bones. ☆ Cook the vegetables according to desired firmness. I like it half-cooked for that crispy texture. ☆ Moreover, the coconut cream helps to temper the bitterness of the bitter gourd. Enjoy!😀 🍽 🍴 🍽 #pinoyfood #myrecipe #bicolcuisine #Cooking
