“..𝐅𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝, 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮..” (2 Timothy 1:6 NIV) 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 is not just 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 we acquire through our own effort. It is a 𝗴𝗶𝗳𝘁 freely given by God in His benevolence to those who believe. Therefore, we have that responsibility to “𝘧𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘨𝘪𝘧𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘎𝘰𝘥.” It should not sit hidden and dull within our hearts because of our negligence. Otherwise, it would lose its purpose for which it is given, -- 𝚝𝚘 𝚖𝚊𝚔𝚎 𝚞𝚜 𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚊𝚍𝚏𝚊𝚜𝚝 𝚊𝚖𝚒𝚍𝚜𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚘𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚠𝚑𝚎𝚕𝚖𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚛𝚒𝚋𝚞𝚕𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚜 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚕𝚍. We are encouraged then to strenghten our Faith. Enkindling that gift (Faith) into flame requires a constant “fanning” on our part. That is, doing what we ought to do as rational Christian believers while relying on God’s providence, in prayer. True! Ang pananampalata humihina kalaunan sa maraming dahilan, kaabalahan sa buhay, problema, pagkakasakit, katandaan, impluwensya ng masamang sistema, libangang nakakaubos ng oras at marami pa.
