•ADAPTATION• (Tuesday Musings on the Water Spinach) I picked some "kangkong" leaves again this time for our "bulanglang" recipe today. Staring at the leaves of our "kangkong" plant I was wondering whether I planted the right seeds or not because the seed packet was labeled as "upland spinach" (ipomoea reptans vs. ipomoea aquatica). Yet later when they had maturedI noticed that the leaves were broad (aquatica) contrary to the narrow leaves of upland "kangkong" (reptans). So I surmised that 𝘪𝘱𝘰𝘮𝘰𝘦𝘢 𝘢𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢 can thrive in the plain ground (not swampy) as well. We, too, are bound to make some adaptations in our lives in order to survive the challenges of times. It's still our choice to choose what is best for us and our well-being not because it's Choose-day (Lol) but we are rational and free. Happy Tuesday, friends and noisers. 🌱 PS. Pasensiya na po.
