An elderly man went to a hospital for his routine medical check up. When his Blood Pressure was taken, it was 120/80.
The doctor on duty who was awestruck picked up the result and looked at it over and over again for about 10 minutes, and said, “Sir, this is unbelievable! You have an incredible BP. Does it mean you don’t go through any stress at all? What’s the secret?”

A Story Of My Aunty .

Today is another day, another day to face mama, another day for her to remind me how my mates are making it and I’m here eating her food, another day for her to condemn all my good effort,
nothing about me ever pleases her,
papa on his own side is always confuse on who to support, mama will verbally abuse him if he tries to take my side, papa is even tired of the constant shouting from mama, he spend more time now in his farm yard with my two younger brothers just to avoid all the chaos, my sister, Oluoma, is not exceptional, but hers is better because she seems to be mama’s favorite,
me I have grown thick skin, if mama like, let her talk from now till tomorrow or beat me from now till tomorrow it won’t break me,
her beating is even better sometimes because her word can cut through me like razor blade, sometimes i just wonder if she’s my real mother, if not that I’m her carbon copy in looks and my birth picture was evident enough i would have doubted it,
What can i do to please her, why is she always harsh to me and calm with my siblings.
Today, as she was going out she told me to climb up the oha tree and plug some leave, after which i will make soup with it,
even my brothers don’t like climbing the tree because of those wicked ants in it, one bite from them will make you see stars, how could mama tell me to climb this tree, plug the oha leaves and make soup with it before she comes back,
I have being standing by the oha tree looking at it and wishing some kind of magic will happen, the tree will just fall by it self, so that mama will stop sending me up there, I know she does it on purpose just to frustrate me, but i don’t care all i want is for her to leave me alone, if climbing this tree will make her happy, so be it, although i wish there was a male figure around, who can help me out here.
I decided to check through to see if i will be lucky enough to see somebody, I saw Chico, one of my brother’s friend passing by, I started thinking God within me,
I beckoned on him to come and he did,
“Aunty Uju good Afternoon
“how are you Chico, biko, come and help me plug some leave leaf from that our Oha tree..
“aah, nooo I can’t o, that tree that is full of tiger ants, I can’t climb it, there was even a day that Ejim, your brother asked me to help him climb it and i did, my whole body was cover with those wicked ants, my mother has warned me not to ever climb that oha tree again and even on my own…i can’t, send me something else i will do but not to climb that tree…
“bikonu, Chico please… Help me, Ejim is not around i would have asked him, I’m the only one in the house and i want to make soup, don’t worry i will give you something if you help me”
“Aunty Uju, sorry, i can do any other thing but i can’t climb that tree and i don’t want to disobey my mother…
“okay o, no problem na”
I checked with two other near by neighbors but no one agrees to help, i returned back to the house disappointed, I have no choice than to climb the tree,
I gently climbed the tree hoping and praying that the ants will be asleep, I didn’t bother checking for the good leaves, i just plug anything I can lay my hands on, when I go down i will select the good ones, I was rushing as fast as my hand can get to, I didn’t know that the ants has gently entered my cloth, when they entered I didn’t even noticed, is as if they planed it as they started firing me with bites, my back, my bumbum, my stomach, my laps, all my body was on fire, I almost fell off the tree as I managed to rushed down, I quickly ran to the back yard and off my whole cloths, I was scratching all over, I shakes some of the ants off my cloths, I covered my hair but they still manage to enter, I was still battling with them when i hard my name, mama was back,
“Obianaujunwa, Obianaujunwa eeh” is she deaf, where is that girl, this girl will not kill me in this house, is this the oha leaf i asked her to plug since and make soup that is lying on the ground….that means this girl have not even started journey yet, she’s is just plugging the leaf now, since morning, she has not even make the soup…. No…it can’t be true, maybe she’s has made the soup and this ones on the ground is the ones she plugged to give the goats…where’s this girl, have she gone deaf…can’t she hear my voice, Obianaujunwa e, Obianauju eeh!
I listened to her call me repeatedly, I wasn’t scared of her beating or scolding I was angry because mama was always calling my full name on purpose, knowing well that i hate it, I like being called Uju instead of my full name, the name makes me feel ashamed, especially the way mama calls it and will deliberately do it to spite me, papa calls me uju and my siblings too except mama,
and if my siblings wants to look for my trouble they will call me exactly the way mama calls it “Obinaujunwa e ” which will make me chase them and they will run into mama’s arm, and mama will dare me to come close to her and receive the beating of my life,
The ants bite wasn’t as painful as mama deliberately calling me now, I wonder why they didn’t give me a name like ‘Chioma, Ijeoma or even ifunanya which means love or better still one of those fine English names like Stella, Linda, Anabel or Mary,
I gently wear my cloth and came out to face mama, on seeing me she quickly stone me her foot wear, asking me why I didn’t answer her since she has being calling me,
I know how to dodge her whenever she throws anything at me,
so i dodged it and i know it pains her whenever she misses her target which is me.
What mama doesn’t know is that she makes me stronger everyday by treating me that way or even trying to call my name.

Be the best you can be
Don't let today end without doing excellently whatever you can to make your life and the life of others better. Success begins with one little step at a time. Focus on your strength, do not allow your weaknesses drown your strength. Do not let what you don't have rob you the blessing of what you have. A failure is not someone who is incapable of doing some things, but someone who couldn't do the things he could do for any reason. Do something TODAY, God gave you TODAY to enrich it and be enriched by it.

Be Safe: Covid 19 is deadly
It's very important me know these things for our safety and that of our ones.
Pleasee a word of advice for you all. Whether we know it or not, covid 19 is wrecking havoc across the globe and we must be extra careful especially those who are above 40 with compromised immunity among us. People that get covid 19 in many cases cannot think it through where and how they get it. That is why I want you to take note of the following:
1. Don't use your teeth to bite sachet water. You don't know who has handled it before you bought it. Cut it with scissors and pour the water into a glass or cup before you drink.
2. If you have to eat bread make sure you toast to warm it because you don't know who and how it was handled during the packaging. Even the one selling the bread can be infected.
3. If you have to eat anything packaged like biscuits, yoghurt, fan ice etc., please wash the wrapper because you don't know who and how it was handled before getting to you. This is because in the supermarkets people touch things and drop, they don't buy.
4. This is the season of roasted corns, avoid the one that is cold, some people want just one but they will touch all the corns round before picking one or walk away. If you must eat corn, let it be extra hot, insist they warn it with fire. Ditto for roasted plantain, tell them to put it back on fire before you buy.
5. If you are climbing staircases, fold your arms to yourself, don't touch anything for you can easily pick up the virus from such touch touch.
6. If you enter keke or cab, carry your hands as if you have touched poison, don't touch yourself and as soon as you drop, look for the nearest soap and water to wash your hand. Act with wisdom always and don't mind the fools deceiving themselves that covid 19 is a scam. It is real.
7. The virus does not discriminate. It infects everybody( _Doctors, Nurses, Presidents of nations, Soldiers, Civilians etc_) and there is no cure.
8. Avoid all forms of gatherings irrespective of the number of people present. It's for your own good.
9. Your phone can easily pick up the virus if you drop it on infected surface. The best place to keep your phone this period is your pocket, don't form the habit of dropping your phone on the nearest desk to where you seat. You phones like your hands can pick up the virus and infect you.

Positive Mind Set
We are destined for greatness and so we are great in the site of GOD.
When GOD created the heavens and the earth , he created man in his own image and gave man the power to subdued the earth. But the evil ones will want to fight us and take what rightfully belongs to us.
Most people see themselves as failures and will not want to work to succeed in life. They have given up in life , they have no hope for the future because all hope is lost.
Some of them are even comfortable in the condition they find themselves , thinking that is their destiny, but it's not theirs.
Positive mind set is what makes people grow in life , there should be no negative thinking but positive thinking should be the starting point of greatness.
We should never give up in life but strive to make it in life , we should never have the thought of poverty rather, the thought should be of richies and greatness. It should be all over in our mind and we must work towards it.
Even when you strive to make it in life, people will want to discourage you, even your friends may reject you , there must mistakes made by you , failure must come at the stage of growing but when you rise up and move forward with your mind set of positivity then greatness becomes the achievement.
Everyday of your life should be a day of innovation and positive thoughts.
Always have a positive mind set , positive thinking must have a goal to achieve , must have a Target and work towards it.
That is what we need to grow in life , greatness is always our portion but me need to acquire that portion which belongs to us by having positive mind set and working towards it for achievement.
Reward Of Bad Gangs
It was Monday morning , people were out for their morning activities, even my parents were also out for their morning routine. Even the 🐦 birds were singing in the morning .
The morning was so cool and calm even as the birds were singing in the 🌲 trees
It was really lovely and sweet . All of a sudden, we heard a gun shot and it was so loud that you can even hear it from 5 (five ) streets away from ours . Everyone started running from one place to another without direction, even my parents that were outside ran very fast into the house .
My Dad hide himself under the bed while my mom held me so tight and ask me to lye on the ground so I did .
We heard a gun shot again we became so much afraid. I was so curious to know what's up with the gun shot so I stretched out my neck up to the window to view outside , I saw some group of men putting on black T-shirt and a red piece tied round their forehead , I was so scared even my mom and dad could not even look at the window. The group of men with so much anger badged into our neighbour's compound, dragged out the boys in the compound and took them away.
Everyone started coming out from their hidding place after some time but my dad remained inside because he was so afraid.
The people around started asking questions in which non of us could answer " who are those men?" They started asking but none of us could answer that question . Someone from the crowd said they are cultist because of their mode of dressing. It was so obvious that they are truly cultist.
The case was reported at the nearby 👮 police station . The police carried out their investigation and find out that those men were cultist and the boys they adopted were their rival in cult. So they came to attack them .
The police had to search for the adopted boys but couldn't find them but some of the men where apprehended and they confessed that the boys they adopted, they shot them dead and burnt them to ashes . They buried the remaining part of the body in a thick forest.
Our street was calm for three days because of what happened .
Those men were apprehended and the boys lost their lives .
Make A Change
Transformation of something , object, place, self etc from one form to another can bring about positive or negative impact in the society.
People in so many countries make changes while others don't, being stagnant , not doing anything to help yourself and the society can actually put you in an unwanted place where you do not expect.
Youths, waiting for the government to provide food, shelter, social amenities, job opportunities for the society is now a thing of the past, depending on them do not bring about positivity in the society.
Be creative, make a change that will make an impact positively in the society and stop apportioning blame on the government for their flaws.
It is true the government cheats, but for how long shall you continue to fight and wait for the government to fulfill their empty promises.
Let us stand our ground and make a change in our society that will positively affect us and the society. Create Ideas of things to be done and how it will help the society for a better tomorrow.
Never you give up, still strive on and you shall conquer. God has given us the talent to do exploit, we all are created with different talent, different gifts in a very unique way so, let's make use of them to turn the world into a better place for you and for me, for all of us and to create a better living for the people of the society.

I just feel I should share my experience I had some days ago.
I was walking in a school so I met a young girl , she's looking 12, although I went to meet my friend whom I haven't seen for some time before I came across the young girl so she greeted me:
**Young lady**: Good morning Sir
**Me**: Morning my dear , how are you doing?
**Young lady** : Am fine sir and you?
**Me**: Am ok young lady
**Young lady**: That's great , thank God for his blessings.
So as we were chatting together, a man came out from his apartment hearing our chat and with the look of things, the man is a Proffessor, so he interrupted us and ask a very confusing question.
**Proffessor**: Which God?
**Young Lady**: Ah! The God that created Adam and Eve , the Only one that created you and I , the one that created the heavens and the earth , the one that..
**Proffessor** : where's the God? Can you see the God?
**Young Lady**: No sir
**Proffessor**: Can you touch the God?
**Young Lady**: No sir
**Proffessor**: So therefore, there is no God. Science has proven it that anything that cannot be seen nor touch does not exist.
**Young lady** : Ah! But Proffessor...
**Proffessor**: shhhh......... I am a Proffessor and I carry out research.
Watching the way the drama was going to end , I thought the young lady had lost it in the argument with the Proffessor but to my greatest surprise, she asked the Proffessor a very brainliant and technical question.
**Young lady**: Proffessor can I ask you a question?
**Proffessor**: Yes go ahead
**Young lady**: Where is your sense?
**Proffessor**: My sense is in my head
**Young lady**: Can you see your sense?
**Proffessor**: No
**Young lady** : Can you touch your sense?
**Proffessor** : No
**Young lady** : Anything that cannot be seen nor touch does not exist according to science , so therefore you don't have sense.
I was so surprised how she came out with such a brainliant question that shut the mouth of the Proffessor.
The Proffessor left with shame all over his face . And the lady and I were so happy.

As a kid, I liked playing with stones till one day
I threw one and it hit my mother's fowl and it

I thought i was just alone but
surprisingly, my sister was right behind me

Then she said "give me #100 and i
won't tell mum"
I said "i don't have but please don't tell her,
she will beat me up."☝🏼☝🏼☝🏼
The following day, Mum told her to wash the
plates and sweep the surrounding, 🍵☕🥣🍽🍴but she
said: "Mum, JOSEPH said he will do it"
Then she came to me and said: "JOSEPH, u wash
the plates and sweep the surrounding or else,
don't forget u killed a fowl"👈🏻👈🏻👈🏻
Without hesitating, i washed the plates and
swept the surrounding for her.
The next day, mum told her to go and fetch
water and fill the drum. 🚰🚰🚰🛢🛢🛢
She said again: "Mum,
JOSEPH said he will do it"
Then she came to me and said: "JOSEPH, u
remember that fowl??
Fill this drum with water🛢🛢🛢
or else...."
That's how i drew water and filled the drum.
That same day in the evening, mum sent her to the market to buy food items,🍞🥦🥒🍑🍒🍠🥐🍚🥙🌮 and again she
said: "Mum, JOSEPH said he will go and buy them"
she came to me again and said: "JOSEPH, don't
forget that the fowl is still dead, go to the
market and buy d food items or else......"🤷🏻♀🤷♂🤷♂🤷🏻♀🙆🙆🙆
I just stood up and went to my Mum with tears
in my eyes🤣🤣🤣, 🙈🙈🙈I found her sitted in the house, I
went to her, knelt down and said while crying:
"Mum, I'm so sorry pls forgive me. I'm the one
who killed your fowl🐓🐓🐓🐓 but it wasn't a deliberate
action, plz Mum forgive me I'm sorry."👏👏👏
Then she replied: "my son, the day u killed the
fowl, I was at the window🏢🏛🏢 watching everything
that happened🙆🏼♂🙆🏼♂🙆🏼♂🙆♀.
Your sister made u her slave
because u did not want to come to me to
confess and apologise. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
But now u have done
it, u will be free, she will no longer use u
again."
