Covid 19 : Face shield or Face mask? The recent outbreak of coronavirus in Wuhan China has really caused a lot if illnesses an death world wide, it is a global pandemic which came as a surprise and jokingly have penetrated in all continent of the world Except Antarctica. The world was on lock down and still on lockdown for months, the world economy was also shut down, no trade was ongoing everyone stayed in their country or in any place they fond them self, it was said social distancing was needed at this point in time. It's been up to 4 month since the issue of the virus came up and the world would need to move on, so some guide lines we're introduce By the WHO to reduce the spread of the virus in which the use of Face shield or Nose mask was a major prerequisite. A face shield/mask is to be worn when going out especially in crowded places to avoid droplet of respiration from the mouth or nose from one person to another **Face mask** The face mask is one made of cotton or fabric material to serve as a blockage to corona virus into the respiratory organs in the body, but this have been proven not much efficient in proper covering the mouth, nostril and the eye. The eye which is another way the virus could penetrate into the body system, the face mask doesn't cover that. Most people don't throw away this nose mask fabric after use, some do wear it for days without washing, this singular act could allow the virus enter into the body system. **Face shield** A face shield does same and more function with that of a nose mask, the face shield is made of a transparent plastic which covers the face down to the mouth, from observation/research it's said that it prevents up to 89% of the virus from entering the body system, after use it could be cleaned up and used again. This prompt to my question to air you view what you think about the face mask and fave shield. Are Face Shields Better Than Face Masks in Preventing covid 19 Infection?

How I lost my writings by not saving to Draft **Read.cash** has been one great platform which has helped me improved my writings skills and the way I communicate with people around me. And also a platform that has helped young and old minds in expressing them self and how they feel. On this faithful day I was happy cause I got upvoted for a post I wrote **The university of Lagos (Unilag) photo Journal** https://read.cash/@Vanjinks/the-university-of-lagos-unilag-photo-journal-61a0d83e And I was motivated to write another, so I started writing and making research for over an hour, unknowingly I was distracted and I dropped my phone for like 20mins on getting back to continue my writing, unlocked my phone and opened my favourite chrome browser which I was using to write till I saw the most heartbreaking shocker of that day, the page reloaded and it was dawn on me I have Lost all my Writings. How Religion, culture and Racism have ruined the world The world has been so not habitable since the advent of Religion, culture and Racism. Living as one in a community of different heritage, race, culture and religion can be so tasking in our today's world. The ability to tolerate our self have been neglected and violence as a tool for revenge, betrayal and hatred has been used against our self. **Religion** In the world today we have over 4200 religion, with Christianity leading followed by Islam. Religion was one brought into the world to help renew the mind set of individual to follow on to the path of righteousness and Loving our neighbor as our self has been a message being passed by preachers of different religion across the world from ages past till our present generation. But in recent times the spike in religious violence has been a global one it affects virtually every religious group. In Africa more than a quarter experience high incidence of hostilities initiated by religious hatred, mob violence related to religion, terrorism, and harassment of women/men for violating religious codes. Violence born by religious intolerance is easier narrated than defined. It spans intimidation, harassment and birth to terrorism and outright warfare. Usually it arises when the main beliefs that define a group’s identity are Challenged. Religious Leaders are always criticised for not doing their best to crub this menace of violence In the society by not publicly condemning every act of violence and also taking sides with their faithful, entire faith communities are presumed to be complicit. **Culture** Culture they say is a way of life. Culture is one which homes the social behavior and emotional intelligence which is found in the human environment, as well as the knowledge, beliefs, arts, laws, custom of the people When this way of life spreads for different people across the world it might not be accepted by another which might lead to conflict if not tolerated, because a particular set might not be able to tolerate the way of life of another cultural background. The leader of every culture group is to be blamed he should preach the word of Unity and also advise against all negatives that would contribute to interpersonal **violence** and support ways to make it to **stop** before it affects another **Racism** Racism began when one Race believed another race was superior and had distinct character and traits to another, so the birth of jealousy and hate came into existence. This has claimed a lot of lives and the most vulnerable to Racism was said to be the blacks.

The effect of Covid 19 on Education Covid19 was one Virus that struck the world unknowingly, the world wasn't prepared for this shocker, many things wasn't in place for this virus but never the less it changed the way and thinking of humans This pandemic has greatly changed the education system for the better. Throughout history, the sector has been conservative and resistant to change even with much effort but since the advent of the novel corona virus everything seems to change rapidly. From the beginning of time it had the slate, then came a century of blackboard and chalk. Now students got information by just pressing their phone and accessing the internet. Covid19 has given schools a lot of platform for students, business men, politicians, lecturers, professors and most academia the birth of great ideas to invent tools/Application which helps to make isolating much more easier, Application such as **Zoom, Microsoft and Google Classroom**. The technology turns a laptop screen into a classroom, where students and teachers see each other and can question each other in truly collaborative online learning. Many institutions in the world have started curbing this practice in making distance learning fun and achievable, recently a university in Nigeria did her Matriculation online which was attended by thousand of students across the nation. The computer/Mobile device has become so important that I believe computing science should be taken at Waec/GCE by every student Necessity they say really is the mother of invention.

Threats to Education In recent times we have seen an uproar which have been against Education in the world especially in Africa. Africa has been one Continent with most out of children in school, with the help of UNICEF and other well meaning bodies which have been trying to reduce the rate of out of children in our society. The environment(some regions) in which we find our self frown at this development and are trying to frustrate the effort of the government and well meaning bodies to help train the child to get a better education. **Below are some Threats to Education** **1. BOOK HARAM IN WEST AFRICA (NIGERIA)** This group was Founded in 2002, initially focused on opposing Western-style education - Boko Haram means "Western education is forbidden" in the Hausa language. This group was said to have abducted more than 200 school children, More than 2,000 schools were shut, while hundreds had been attacked, looted or set ablaze, Unicef said, Bomb threats and bomb incidents continued to disrupt schools in 2018-2020 school year. The government of the west African country are still in a fight with this insurgency. Boko Haram still remains a Threats to Western Education. **2. NOT ENOUGH FUNDING (Budgetary) FOR EDUCATION** it's no News that greed in the land is what leads to the downfall of an economy which makes me brings out the topic of non funding of the Educational system. **Lack of funding** or **Not Enough funding** means **low** salaries for teachers. Cuts to **education** spending **affect** all aspects of students' academic experience, from the condition of the **school**  building like decapitated buildings not enough infrastructures in the school like library, staff rooms, laboratory, health center e.t.c to the courses offered and the teachers in the classroom. The global organization of education recommended the budgetary benchmark to enable nations adequately cater for rising education demands which is suppose to be 15% of the national budget for a year. The fight is still one "Invest in the child means investing in the future" **3. POOR PARENTING AND GUIDANCE** The parent also contribute a large part in the schooling of children, Parents are meant to provide the basic needs needed to meet the challenges of life, But most parent never care to enrol his/her ward in school or are ignorant to know the usefulness of education on the child's Life. However We have also heard stories of parents following their wards to schools to fight or harass teachers all because their wards were cautioned. All this causes threats to the educational system. **4. Corona Virus ( Covid19)** The outbreak of the corona virus which occurred at the end of 2019 sounded like a think of joke, early 2020 we started hearing cases saying the virus has been a global pandemic. This lead to millions of student world wide to stay home for 4 months and still counting. We still have a lots of threat but these are the major points affecting my(our) immediate environment, let's encourage education for it is what makes our society grow. Thanks.

Childhood Children they say is a gift from the Lord, some say children are the future of tomorrow. When a child is been born into the world everyone celebrates, the parents are happy and grateful for making them have a successor. When a child is born he/she is nurtured by the parents to guide, protect and provide for him, the child grows believing everything or the world is a bed of roses, playing with friends and folks. This is a time for children to be in school and at play, to grow strong and confident with the love and encouragement of their family and an extended community of caring adults. But our society today has made childhood something to fear, the community is no more safe there's no more encouragement in the society, there's greed and selfishness all this are being imbibed into this children which makes them not to grow stronger to be future leaders rather than future eaters. Train a child and well and benefit the fruitfulness of this child, let's bring back childhood memories back, let's make this world a better place

Simple way to track your lost Android Phone A recent study shows that 70 million phones are lost each year. Without a SIM card, GPS location or Internet access, it may seem like all is lost when your phone goes missing. But did you know that you can use the IMEI number to track your lost Android phone?  IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is a unique 15-digit code authorized by GSMA, just like an identity certificate for your phone. Every time a phone uses a particular network to make or receive a call, send or receive a message, its IMEI number is automatically emitted and tracked. Because the police and service providers have databases in which these ID numbers fall into white and black lists, an owner can report his/her IMEI number and make it blacklisted after a theft. Get the IMEI number of your Android phone Getting to know the number is easy. The fastest way is to dial *#06#, a command to make the unique ID appear. In most cases, the IMEI number exists on the reverse side of a phone, or underneath the removable battery. If your phone is lost, but its packaging is kept, you are still able to find the IMEI number on the label.

5 Health benefit of Honey and ginger In fighting viruses and diseases. Health benefits of Honey & Ginger A mixture of ginger and honey works wonders for the body. The health benefits include the following: 1. Treats Asthma It is believed that a mixture of ginger and honey, along with black pepper, is capable of treating or reducing the effects of asthma. It is a naturally soothing and anti-inflammatory mix, which releases tension, promotes the flow of oxygen to the lungs, and helps in the relaxation of the blood vessels. 2. Nausea Relief According to a study led by Max E. Levine, et al..high protein meals with ginger helped relieve delayed nausea associated with cancer. Patients often suffer from debilitating nausea following these intense procedures, and they turn to alternative solutions to eliminate it. 3. Reduces Respiratory Problems The mixture of ginger and honey is an excellent expectorant and, therefore, provides instant relief to people suffering from cough, cold, sore throat, and a runny nose. Study shows that ginger helps reduce nausea and vomiting that is associated with pregnancy and “morning sickness”.Combined with the naturally soothing effects of honey, make for a powerful preventative solution against vomiting and nausea caused by various sources. 4. Antioxidant Properties A review article by Tahereh Farkhondeh, et al. [5] studies states that constituents of honey exert antioxidant, anticancer anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial properties. However, more clinical evidence is required to support the benefit especially pertaining to anticancer effects. Ginger, on the other hand, is known to have many medicinal benefits because of its antioxidant effect.Ginger has the potential to act as an anticancer agent against pancreatic cells. However, more clinical trials are required to establish the benefit. The use of ginger is effective against gastrointestinal cancers such as gastric cancer, liver cancer, and pancreatic cancer. However more human studies are required for further evidence. In terms of cancer prevention,It is suggested that combined treatment of ginger and Raw honey may help in enhancing the chemotherapeutic effects of  5-fluorouracil  against colorectal cancer. Therefore, a honey ginger tonic can not only help to reduce the symptoms of chemotherapy but also to reduce the risk of cancer. 5. Aids in Digestion It is believed that ginger and honey tonic or syrup is a good digestive aid due to the inherent digestive properties of ginger. Furthermore, both of them have antioxidant properties, thereby, improving the body’s immunity. Therefore, the consumption of one teaspoon of ginger and honey tonic is very useful for people who have a weak digestive system. Lastly, this gives honey ginger tonic the ability to increase the absorption of other nutrients from food. This mixture has been traditionally given to children to ease stomach irritation because it is a very soothing solution.

16 Scary Facts We Probably Don't Know About Snakes Snakes, one of the most deadly and widely feared creatures on the planet. **Below are some Facts about snakes**. Snakes belong to the suborder Serpentes, are elongated, limbless and flexible reptiles. There are about 3,000 known species of snakes, of these, some 700 species are venomous and of those around 250 can deliver a bite capable of killing a human.  But even non-venomous snakes can be dangerous to humans, especially the biggest snakes in the world.  Snakes eat their prey whole and are able to consume prey up to over 3 times larger than the diameter of their head.  This is possible because their lower jaw and upper jaw can separate from each other.  To keep prey from being able to escape, most snakes have rear-facing teeth that hold their victim in their mouths, specially the constrictors like the Burmese Python. Venomous snakes inject their prey with venom, while constrictors will squeeze the life out of their prey.  Snakes don't need to hunt and feed on a daily basis. Anacondas and pythons can survive for up to a year without food after feeding. 1. The decapitated head of a dead snake can still bite, even hours after death. These types of bites usually contain huge amounts of venom. 2. Rattlesnake antivenom costs $20,000 per vial. One Florida boy needed 75-80 vials, which adds up to about $1.6 million. 3. The muscle that causes a rattlesnake to rattle fires 50 times a second for up to 3 hours or 520,000 rattles without stopping. 4. What is considered the most “dangerous” snake depends on both a specific country’s health care and the availability of antivenom following a bite. Based on these criteria, the most dangerous snake in the world is the saw-scaled viper, which bites and kills more people each year than any other snake. 5. Snakes are found all throughout the earth except Antarctica, Iceland, Ireland, Greenland and New Zealand because they can't survive on the frozen grounds. 6. Of the approximately 725 species of venomous snakes worldwide, 250 can kill a human with one bite. 7. The fear of snakes (ophiophobia or herpetophobia)is one of the most common phobias worldwide. Approximately 1/3 of all adult humans areophidiophobic, which suggests that humans have an innate, evolutionary fear of snakes. 8. The warmer a snake’s body, the more quickly it can digest its prey.  Typically, it takes 3–5 days for a snake to digest its meal. For very large snakes, such as the anaconda, digestion can take weeks. 9. Some animals, such as the Mongoose, are immune to snake venom. 10. The heaviest snake in the world is the anaconda. It weighs over 595 pounds (270 kg) and can grow to over 30 feet (9m) long. It has been known to eat caimans, capybaras, and jaguars. 11. The most advanced snake species in the world is believed to be the black mamba. It has the most highly evolved venom delivery system of any snake on Earth. It can strike up to 12 times in a row, though just one bite is enough to kill a grown man. The black mamba is the world’s fastest snake and the world’s second-longest venomous snake in the world, after the king cobra.  Found in East Africa, it can reach speeds of up to 12 mph (19kph). When a man loves a woman **When a man loves a woman** He toils under the sun and rain that there may be fight between the pestle When a man loves a woman Her heart is a holy book a page of which nothing shall detache; Her smile, a perfect substitute for the sun at a Misty dawn When a man loves a woman He pluck the sun with leprous fingers and spites the face of a gloomy night; He blows off a wild fire with the saliva of compassion And hide the moon behind The curtain of his eyes And when a man loves a woman He dares to trek on the sea and fetch sand of treasure; He weathers the storm of trials and makes a home for her where unity is a rain falling and falling without ceasing
