Having a best friend is not a question at all..Unless it trespass the limitation.It is a situational, you can determine the sincerity of being best friends alone. Talk about it and set limitations.

Hmmm. I will not agree friend. Hehe. I want my spouse to consider me as his only best friend. No opposite gender as best friend. I won't allow it. 😊
