Fractals in nature In a subject in college I saw a topic called fractals. They are geometric objects where the characteristic is that they have some shape that is repeated at different scales. It's interesting how that mathematical concept can be seen in the world around us. I searched the Internet and found many things. There is even a book on the subject: it's called the fractal geometry of nature. It is fascinating to see objects in nature that can be described from fractal geometry.
