Picking up valuable drinking water to be shared to the affected areas in Misamis Occidental. Will be busy spending the whole week helping the affected people in the North Western part of the Mindanao island. For those who have seen the Philippines national television news several areas of the country are submerged to water level. After the short yet fulfilling Christmas break with the family. The ferson is back to work and now. Tirelessly coordinating with the affected areas in Misamis Occidental and Misamis Oriental. Wanted to give thanks for those prayed for the ferson safe journey. Please be informed that traffic, road construction, vehicular accident, impatient and irresponsible drivers made the whole going home journey a little bit of difficult but never the less I arrived home safe and hungry as well Let's open some casserole if they still have some food for the person who is hungry for almost 12 hours already. 😂😂😂🤤🤤🤤 Happy evening everyone. Finally done with all the papers needed to be done prior the starting of work this coming 26 December. Its time to depart heading to my province and hometown. But before that let's secure some sweet gifts for the ferson nephews and niece as well for my mom and siblings. While finishing up all the paper works to close my work and getting ready for the Christmas break (24-25). After compiling the papers will be packing up the luggage and also some laundries as well. One of the snacks shared earlier with the children ward, along with their parents and guards, this sweet snack is also given to the hospital, nurses, and guards. This tasty sweet treat put a smile on their faces and evident joy in their eyes. By the way its Ube Yum Sticky Rice Cake topped with sweeten coconut meat with overwhelming magnolia cheese. Hi and Hello noise.app friends and buddies. Happy Thursday to all. One more day in service and will be travelling back to the province (County) to visit my family and spend Christmas evening and one whole day of rest. Its pretty exciting to see all my relatives and family members. I know they are looking forward with the Christmas games whom the ferson will be facilitating with as well as the prizes. Will be roaming around in the street area sharing free meals to stray dogs and cats. Will be helping the local animal rescue organisation putting them into shelter. Afterwards will be heading to the hospital and visit the children ward to make them happy and joyful in this yuletide season. A volunteer ask the ferson (Kuya Uwan). And his question speak about "How do I see myself 20 years from now?" The ferson responded that he will be on his 50+ that time and during the 20 years he will continue to work as humanitarian worker and peace builder in Mindanao and will retire around 60 and become a farmer. The volunteer ask why continue serving for so long? The ferson replied "as long as the armed conflict continue to exist and peace is not sustainable I will continue to serve. The volunteer follow up a question, why choose being a farmer when you can be more than that, the person responded, I like the simplicity of farming. And also farming is the foundation of our food source if farming died the food source will collapse. This is a lesson given to me (the ferson) by my father before he past away. And I want to live that legacy as well. I like to follow his footstep in serving humanity and the environment. For you noise.app buddies and friends, how do you see yourself in 20 years time? We are not just simply hungry we are starving badly after pushing the Bongo elf truck in the middle of nowhere under heavy rain and sunking in a sticky mud. After overcoming that intense labor and arduous ordeal tonight, we think we need a decent meal to replenish the strength we have lost. Experiencing heavy rain here in Mindanao. And it's almost two hours hope the river side area won't be affected by it or else we will be trapped.. Hope the temporary bridge and pathway survive the on going heavy torrent rain at this point of time. I wish I did bring my portable stove, cookset and instant coffee. Most of the time we are in the field or in the run to do some errands or logistics stuff or majority doing field work. Doing this task often time needs to be agile and mobile. And the best pack meal we have in mind is pater. Today was pretty rough to the ferson and its team but before I retire for today allow me to answer one of the longest and oldest question from before. What is the meaning of Uwanderer777? "Uwan" is English equivalent is rain. Uwan is a Indigenous name given to a child blessings by the deity of rain. No words could ever express how happy they are to be able to see other people aside from their fellow rehab members, nurses, doctors, psychologist and house parents. They are happy to see a good amount of people who care for them and who never discriminated them for the actions they have done. They are joyful to see kind hearted folks who wish nothing but goodness to them despite all the wrong doing they have made. They are happy to have such a second chance in life. And seeing them grow is really fulfilling to the ferson as their big brother, mentor and teacher. Time to head back home as heading home is a long ride. Hi nd hello to all our dear noise.app buddies and friends. The ferson will be preoccupied facilitating and managing the Christmas party of the youth rehabilitation center where most youth are undergoing correctional intervention as they have been fallen victim of the illegal drugs. In the afternoon the same activity will apply in the correctional center called boys town where all patients have high risk profile due to the crimes they have committed at the very young age. The youth who are having their second chance in life will be given a merry and joyful yuletide season. Will be active again later this afternoon or evening. As more youth now a days are active in mobile usage. It would be far more better if they could make used of their time doing something that will surely help them achieve their dreams in life by making them literate or aware of paying apps, sites, games and viewing platform. In this way they could help our themselves to becpme self reliant and gradually embracing financial literacy in the new age of money system. Today was a very hard day (heavy rain, vehicular accident, vehicle malfunction, power shortage, poor manpower, and ill /sick team members). But despite all that, it's still a beautiful day seeing them (children in the different orphanage) smile and laugh, which is the most important part of our mission bringing happiness to others in this season of giving. Very grateful to my noise.app buddy and dear friend @microreylatos for the inspirational and heart warming music.
