Already done market roles and task for the preparation of the children Christmas party for the orphanage. One orphanage will celebrate this evening and another four (4) tomorrow morning and afternoon. It was a busy day for the ferson and his team as they need to bargain most of the time as the prices of the ingredients are expensive and getting out the budget. Luckily, the ferson and his team persuade the seller. Now the marketing, chores is done. Lets have some wild chicken soup for lunch. One of the best dish during rainy and cold weather/season. Yesterday the students like the music they heard and they love the message of it. Up until now I am singing it. When the Local Government Unit (LGU) wanted to give thanks to the people whom they are working with for the past seven (7) years. They (LGU) wanted a simple thanksgiving to their local partner (Uwan Team) for never giving up on them (LGU and the affected communities) particularly during tough times (armed conflict, covid, natural disaster). They (LGU) prepared a sumptuous meal for the ferson team prior heading to the community (evacuation center) whom the ferson team intentionally bringing happiness with. May we (ferson team) invite you to dine with us with this tasty meal. It's almost dinner time and we took sa work break. We decided to have some grilled milk fish for dinner. This came to realization thanks to the tempting offer online by Princess Sarah inday @rhia 😂😂. Earlier today I've shared with you the main meal for this morning. Now let's shift our attention to the morning dessert for this morning. For this morning we have Maja Blanca. This is one of the favourite sweet treats of all Filipino. They like it for its creamy and sweet taste. Some placed crushed peanuts as toppings others add pineapple tidbits. Each province in the Philippines have various toppings of the said sweet treat. Would you like some sweet treat? Almost done cooking sweet and spicy adobo. Will be adding the pineapple tidbits shortly. The scent is almost making me devour it but one must not let temptation shackles me. Let's wait a little bit more for it to be well done. The more you cook the chicken in low heat the more it's meat become tender and mouth melting. Because of the tight schedule the kitchen team barely have time to eat. Checking the time now it's almost 4pm. We have finally finish all the food preparation for today. Giving thanks to the private sectors partners and also the local government unit who assisted the said gift giving activity. This activity won't be possible without the assistance of the military men and women who made sure everyone is safe in the armed conflict areas. This is one way of the Christian groups caring and supporting our Islam brothers and sisters in the island of Mindanao. We pray ever lasting peace to Mindanao and the reduction of armed conflict here in the southern island of Philippines. Wanted answer this quick question. Are you not afraid with the kind of work you are doing? I would loudly say "Yes I am" but if I let fear conquer me what will happen to the children whom we have served for several years in the battlefield area. "Yes I am" but if I let the feeling of being scared overcome me, what will happen to the youth whom we are molding right now, who will become future leaders of the community. Having fear and the feeling of being scared is good as it indicate you are human within. What I or we can do as humanitarian worker is take extra cautionary means. Lastly, I can't face my father in heaven if I let him down with the people he love and cared so much. And fulfilling my oath to him is a life time success for me. Cheers in heaven Papa. The weather collide with what I feel right now. I feel sad for the families affected by violent action made by greedy folks who wish nothing but to disturb peace on the community. Such a sad reality right.. Children should be smiling and laughing as they enjoy the upcoming Christmas break but most of them are crying because of fear from the loud noise of bomb blast.
