Today was a busy day at the field. Barely able to munch a meal and drink some water as a huge flock of evacuees come to aid, seeking salvation in hunger and thirst. But despite the situation, we are still grateful to be able to serve and fulfill our purpose in life here on earth and that is to give love and kindness to God's greatest creation. Happiest Day to All Sharing with you another glimpse of positivity and hope in the land of conflict. As mentioned before that most of the Islam children are heading to school with an empty tummy. To create a sustainable meal for the kids, the team taught the children, teachers and educators the importance of school garden which holds the key for their permanent staple food. The other day they have already harvested their labor of love and hard work. With this, no children will be hungry heading to school as they have a good source of staple food. Rainy and gloomy morning to all. For the past few days the ferson has been busy at work, on the field, and got into some minor stuff at the hospital. Today will be resting the whole morning and will be back in operation in the afternoon. For now, let's hydrate and get back to sleep. Sleep is a luxury for most adults particularly the working ones. A very late but heart warming gift shared by the volunteers who happened to recall my birthday last month of December. Thanks for this tasty and sweet tiramisu cake. Forgot to share with you this money cake shared to us last January 1, 2023 during the height of the new year celebration. Wasn't able to open this as I have arrived in the warehouse in the afternoon of January 1 and took a rest on January 2, and left the warehouse for the gathering/reunion in the afternoon. Had the opportunity today to look at it, check it and invite you to have a taste of it. I can't finish it by myself as toncil and diabetes is waving crazily in the background 😂😂😂 Wish you all a wonderful afternoon. The Temporary displaced individuals and families lining up to avail the free water and grocery items shared to them by the academe volunteers and sponsors in their respective communities. Seen in the photo below the line us pretty heavy as most of the community are affected and suffering from the said heavy flooding. When you went out to continue the purchasing of goods and the team send you a message via telegram with an attached photo on it and said "Sayang Sir wala ka, Amping" (unfortunately you're not here, Take care). As soon as I received and understood the message I told the organisation driver. Manong may nakalimotan ako (Big Brother, I forgot something). And we went back to the warehouse/office and took half box of it. The end. Abi nila dili ko mubalik sa office 😂😂😂😂 ©️ Uwanderer777 🤙🏻🇵🇭

As mentioned in the previous post. Here are the glimpse of the situation and condition of the evacuees yesterday evening during the evacuation process. Due to its overwhelming numbers the pre destined evacuation could not accommodate the all. Which resulted to this situation right here in this photo presented below. From jumping to one evacuation center to another. Bring forth water, food, medicine, clothing, sleeping mattress, diapers and sanitary pads. Nap for an hour or two and went to the marker to purchase much needed ingredients for the chicken porridge to be shared with the evacuees. Will be picking up donation to various friends and colleagues who wish to extend their helping hands to the evacuees particularly the children who are sleeping uncomfortably in a small pad of cardboard sheet. Will be working round the clock to add more evacuation centers as the number of evacuees are flocking and increasing. This is the kind of life humanitarian workers are exerting for yet only few know and understand them. But it's okay. What's important is we are doing our best to save and bridge life to others. Sharing with you a glimpse of the joint effort from brother at arms fraternity of the ferson along with his mountaineering and academe fellows working together, sorting all goods to be given to the flood victims families and individuals. Packing a lot of it. Lifted the hearts of the victims. Big thanks to the Tau Gamma Phi fraternity, ateneo University, and mountaineering/outdoor friends. Hindi ko namalayan na tumutulo na pala ung luha mo ng hindi mo mawari at di mo maintindihan. Ung gusto mong sumigaw pero wala kang lakas sa katawan o di kaya nanigas ung katawan mo sa mga pangyayari. When your stomach goes upside down due to the body bags piling up as the numbers of casualties are increasing from the recent flooding here in Northern Mindanao. This is really crazy and out of hand. Body is not shaking from hungry nor sleep but the mere idea of seeing bodies of little one lifeless and all gone not being able to reach his/her goal in life. Such a sad scene. Such a cruel reality.
