A generous token by the backbone of the nation which is the humble farmers who are working hard to provide food in our table. Never thought visiting them, listening to their stories, acknowledging their presence and value at the same time sharing humble little gifts to them surely touch their lives in many ways. After the long armed conflict they are now back to their learning center and able to interact and play with their fellow learners and friends. They are also happy with the new learning materials they have obtained today. Been out for several hours for work. And the weather again made a quick change of heart. Luckily we are near a food eatery and decide to have some warm and meaty meal for breakfast as we left earlier today with light meal in our tummy. Had the opportunity to stop by at our sub office. Everyone is busy with the disaster management, so took the liberty to scramble the kitchen and viola had something for dinner. Will be resting here and will continue the travel earliest tomorrow morning. Hope everyone is safe as news of disaster from all corners of the country. And it breaks the inner core of me seeing their individual situations. But as for now, let's have some meal and rest to recharge oneself and continue to serve the people later on. Thats all for now. Will be resting in a van for the whole land trip. Being awake for almost 33 hours is like breaking your head bits of pieces. But after the intense hours my physical body is slowly feeling exhausted after all those adrenaline impact hours. Will be resting on Sunday as well. When all cafeteria, eatery, small resto, convenient store and food stall are close due to the uproaring gunshots and bombing. Luckily found some food in my bag. If not for this my tummy will surely explode from the roaring dragon inside 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. This will be a long day for me and the team. Cross cutting conflict with different levels and magnitude uprising. I am muddy, sticky, tired, and hungry but I learn (Revised Filipino commercial ads quote) I learn that not all path are well paved and cemented sometimes muddy path make you realize a lot of things in life. I learn sticky feeling is a result of hard work from the things you are passionately doing with. I learn tired is a end result of all selfless effort made to bring forth one special curve in someone face that lighten their heart. Many areas of the country of the Philippines are experiencing heavy rain resulting to severe flooding, power outage, force evacuation and worse human and animal casualties. Several properties and personal belongings have lost over the night. The weather pattern become much worse this year. The blue planet we are living is now becoming a unsafe haven due to extreme climate. Hope this weather will subside soonest. And will continue to plan more tree planting projects both in the County and city areas to help mother nature heal itself. Educate more households to reduce waste and plastic pollution. Encourage more leaders to be firm in climate mitigation and preparation.
