Interactive Play Therapy (Sailing Cone) Hello everyone happy Monday afternoon, as mentioned in my previous post during the visit of the volunteers in the far flung areas where they conducted a community outreach. The volunteers facilitate a play therapy session with the Indigenous children named Saling Cone (Paper Cone drifting in the string) The volunteers divided the group of children into two. One is male and the other one is female. Each group need to blow the paper cone from the starting point to end point by using the air pressure coming from their mouth blowing the inner portion of the cone. The groups are prohibited to hold the cone, or push it using the nose and chin. As soon the the paper cone reach the end point the group member must glide it back to its original position and tap the next member until all member are done doing the task. Each group only have three minutes to complete. The most member who completed it in the limited time wins. The children find the activity really engaging, fun and funny to do. Everyone in the community laugh out. The purpose of the activity is to improve team effort, focus on task and time conscious. After the activity the children receive their rewards (please see the last photo in this post). It was a healthy competition which strengthen the team work of each group. Thank you for checking and supporting this post. Will be posting more updates about the community outreach later on this day. Continue sharing goodness, Uwan (Rain) "Tigwahanon Tribe" 🧑🏻🇵🇭
