The HMV (His Master's Voice), now Sa Re Ga Ma Ltd, used to publish gramophone discs of non-film Bengali songs named "Sharad Arghya" just before the Durga Puja. That was the year 1983. The Durga Puja album of Kishore Kumar was composed by Lata Mangeshkar. I think those are the lone music compositions of Lata Mangeshkar. I don't know if Lata Mangeshkar composed any other songs before or after it. We know Lata Mangeshkar as a great singer. These two songs of Kishore Kumar proved her quality as a music composer.
