Mainstream Magazines and News Media Dwell on Hype
Mainstream news is mostly hype-based. Mainstream news media survive on selling exciting news to the people. And there is no doubt that people like to consume interesting news. Everyday happenings constitute news. Those are truths and parts of people's lives. Unfortunately, the truth is mostly harsh and not enjoyable. Getting interesting news is not always possible. That is the reason mainstream news media utilize hype to make interesting news items that sell well to consumers. Mainstream magazines and news media dwell on hype. Many mainstream magazines and news outlets tend to focus on sensationalism and exaggeration. In other words, truth has become secondary. Selling news and creating trending headlines are the primary for news media houses. Sadly, most hype news remains untouched and uninvestigated for years!
