Be a man of Integrity 10/4/22 Integrity is the foundation of every friendship, family, relationships and every organization in our world. The only thing more important than having it is living it. Life has a purpose. To help you live out that purpose with integrity requires being true to yourself and others at all times, standing for the truth always. We believe in living a life of character and honor because we understand that to be true to yourself is to be true to all mankind. Exhibiting integrity in the face of opposition and temptation will forever be the mark of an exceptional man. You cannot be what you are not. You cannot do what you will not. You cannot be someone you’re not or live a life you’ll regret if you’re not true to yourself and others around you. Be a man of integrity, do your job. Stay on your path. Live with virtue, not because it's easy, but because it is right. Finish what you started. Keep your promises, and hold up your end of the bargain. Demand the same from others. Strive to do your part, as every man does his. This is your "man card". Do you have a man card? There are five qualities of a man that form the foundation of a man card: Character, Courage, Commitment, Honour and Integrity. A man with integrity has the courage to stand for what is right, irrespective of the cost. As a man with integrity, you cannot allow yourself to be intimidated by anyone. If someone were to try to intimidate you, they would use your integrity as a weapon against you. To defeat this person, you must therefore stand firm in your truth. Your truth will either honour or shame you. Integrity is one of the qualities that has kept us alive for thousands of years. And it is what will keep us alive in the days to come. I believe that all men ought to walk around with a little notice in their eye, a sparkle in their step, because we have a moral and ethical obligation to be the best human beings we can be. The second we stop caring about our family, friends and ourselves is the moment we stop being human. For those who might say "Imma do me" I say "No you're not!" When you hurt yourself, you're hurting your family and loved ones. You're making it harder for future generations to survive. Everyone's problems are each other's problems. If someone is being mistreated, they're not alone, they have community. Don't put others down so that you can feel good about yourself. Integrity is doing the right thing when no one else is watching. Integrity is doing what's right in the face of adversity. Integrity is keeping your word, even if it's hard. Integrity is living by a code that you believe in and not being afraid to stand for the truth, always. Respect – Being a man of integrity means respecting yourself, other men and everyone. The way you treat others, from your family and friends to people on the street and those who you don't know, says a lot about you as a person. A real man will be kind, courteous and respectful to everyone he meets. Make today count. Think before you speak. Take action without being impulsive. Have the courage to do what's right in the face of adversity and make sure you're always standing up for what's right, no matter what. Rule your life with these virtues in mind, and be true to yourself. You'll be better for it in every way. Don't settle for mediocrity. Be better than that today.

Living up to Expectations 21/3/22 The word expectation means to look forward to something or to anticipate something that is going to happen. We always look forward to some or the other things in life, be it about work, family, friends, romance, and so on. **Understanding expectations** We can not escape from having expectations and everyone has their own expectations from every one. We all have our own expectations from our parents, children, partner, friends, boss etc. Our life is defined by what we do on a daily basis. We take these actions with the expectation of bettering our lives. The expectations we live up to affect our present and future. The expectations we don't follow through on have an impact on our lives that's just as profound. **We have expectations of ourselves.** The choices we make and the actions we take contribute to the path our life takes, shaping the person we become. **We have expectations of others.** We often make snap judgments based on what we've learned from previous experiences. These judgments are based on how others reacted to events in the past, which in turn can create specific expectations of how they'll act in the future. **We have expectations of institutions.** Institutions are more than just rules, they're systems that provide structure and support for our lives. These systems may be formal or informal, but they always hold an expected set of values and responsibilities. **We have expectations of society.** "Society" is a term used to describe a group of people with similar interests, beliefs and values. We are expected to live up to certain expectations. We should be talented in certain areas, meet certain standards, and be good looking. All these things, we're expected to live up to. And when we do, we can feel as though we've been "successful". Around the world, especially in the United States and across Europe, beauty is advertised and sold as one of the most important things we should strive towards. The pressure put on young men and women to look a certain way is intense. We often hear people say that you don't have to "look like a model" to be beautiful. But when it comes down to it, that is what we're told we need to look like. That's what's being sold to us daily. Optimism is one of the facets of being human. Each day is a new opportunity for us to go out of our way (or slightly outside) to make someone’s life better. How we treat others and how we act towards them, often defines our character and impacts the way others treat us. Everywhere we look theres someones idea of whats acceptable. How we should be or how we should behave? It's expected of us as human beings to live up to expectations. The most obvious example is educational institutes, but it can be seen in the wider society around us. If we don't live up to expectation, we feel like an outcast and this leads to unhappiness. This is all down to our perception, if we look around there are plenty of people who don't live up to their own expectations, which shows that we are more likely to judge others than ourselves. In life, we are to live up to expectations and when we are able to do that, we feel great. Joy and satisfaction is the reward of living up to our expectations. Some of us were taught that we shouldn’t expect anything special, so we feel like we’re not doing something wrong when we fail to live up to our expectations. Other than that, I guess it’s simple: life is about being happy and if you don’t live up to your expectations, you’re bound to be unhappy. And since all of us want to be happy, it’s probably best if all of us live up to our expectations. **BOLD PREDICTION:** Life will continue to surprise us all with new innovations that will push the limits of human imagination and the opportunities for growth in this century. If you have a new invention, don’t be afraid to share it with the world! We all have a lot of expectations for what this century will bring us so you can never know how an invention might help change how we see the world.

Am I welcomed? 20/3/22 I'm Tryphena by name. An identical twin, my sister's name is Tryphosa. It's hard to identify us. But those close to us know us apart. We were born on the 28th, of March. It's not everyday you meet identical twins with different names. While identical in appearance, they are different in character. We have a lot of friends. It's really fun being twins. We try to tell people apart. But they're always so surprised to find out they've been talking to the wrong twin. How some people tell us apart is they call our names. If a friend calls me Tryphena, my sister calls out Tryphosa. It's not so hard for those close to us, but for those who don't know us, it can be confusing. If you meet me, you would know that I am a natural born chatter box. My sister is the total opposite of me, she's cool, calm and collected. We are inseparable. Although we look alike we have different character. It doesn't matter how long we live apart as siblings we will always be best friends because we understand each other like no one else. Typical my sister would be like "Why did you do that?" while I'll be like "Why not?" My sister and I love to talk about everything to whoever will listen, so it was only a matter of time before we decided to create our own podcast. After all, there are already many podcast created by people. We will talk about everything including our opinions on new trends, pop culture and music. I look up to my sister because she is the smartest person I know. My favorite colour is yellow, blue or purple because of my sister's favorite colour. We grew up having the same friends and same interests. We learned to do everything together and had a really simple childhood. We loved raising our hands in the classroom, we love singing in choir, we love to play instruments. After graduating from high school and knowing that our parents could only afford sending any one of us to go to college, we made a plan to study abroad. But along the way I decided to stay back in Nigeria, while my sister travelled. I have been accepted in various European countries as well but I decided to attend university of Ibadan because it's close to home, my family and friends can always be a part of my life. We're just two sisters who loves experiencing life together, taking challenges together and encouraging one another when we're down. While I'm more outgoing and sociable, my sister loves to stay at home and enjoy the simple things in life like cooking and reading. I hope I'll be highly welcomed here on this platform. Thanks. It's 8 day to our birthday 🎂🥳. #March28babies #Twingirls #IdenticalTryphenaTryphosa
