Ask, Seek and Knock

WORD Today 10/8/20 Gal3:1-5 Lk11:5-13 Christ tells us to persevere in praying & never to give up hope. He assures us, "Ask & it will be given u; seek & u will find; knock & it will be opened to u." This is not a promise of an instant answer. What Christ is saying is that we need to consistently ask, seek & knock in order to acknowledge that we need God. If we have no need for God, we wont listen to His guidance that keeps us away from harm & on the path to heaven. We need to pray & wait because it's good for us. Children who are quickly provided w/ all luxuries in life never grow up. Our Father wants us to be persevering. When our faith, hope & love for Him become mature, we'll see that His unfailing answer, in whatever form it may come, is the very best. Good morning!
