A generous heart
This is my teacher in my college days whom I look up to and now my officemate. She is very kind and generous and she has a soft heart. The other day we celebrated two birthday of our colleagues and she surprised the birthday celebrants and they were very happy.
They are the celebrant. One is our department head, one who had glasses hanging in front of her, is celebrating her 52 years of age and the other is our assistant dean is celebrating her 45th birthday. They had no idea of the celebration our colleague prepared because she wanted it to be a secret. She order a lot of food and drinks for all of us.
She ordered the food package from our other colleague. It's already a very affordable one and the cake was just for free. A sort of pledge for the surprise. As we sing a happy birthday song, to our dear department head, she burst into tears. She was very happy and didn't expect it since she did not prepare anything that day.
Actually the plan is to celebrate the birthday of all the heads in one celebration this coming 23rd in our campus covered court. That is why the celebrants did not prepare in their actual day. But one of our colleague wanted her to surprise and make her feel special. And indeed she is as I see her teary-eyed expressing her gratitude for the surprise.
We enjoyed the food so much. Happy tummy and happy heart. Thanks to our generous colleague. We even have leftovers the next day. Desserts and viand. We save our money for snacks and viand for lunch. And we are grateful as well that we are able to enjoy the blessings shared by our colleagues even if it's not intended to us. A generous heart is very few to find. This woman that I look up to is a model to everyone. I couldn't ask why she is blessed of so many things. I know she deserved it because of her generous heart. Being generous, you will be return a hundred folds. To her it's nothing when she give something to someone. But to most of us, we always choose whom we give, even I myself. I hope and pray that I would have a change of heart. So that graces and blessings will return ten times fold. I know it would be hard but it's for good. And I will start in small ways and things. To be honest it's really hard to give away things that you work hard for. And giving to other people who don't shared even a single sweat for it. But I realized that it's a very bad attitude cause everything you have isn't yours that is why you should've shared it to other people. That would be all for today. Thank you for reading. God bless. I don't think so if I can enjoy the food you served hahah I didn't see any lumpia on your plate, Target locked on lumpia hahaha , I always love if someone celebrates their birthdays at the office, people who celebrate bdays on offices are called "working person" they prefer to celebrate at work. and some people prefer celebrating at home so that families and neighbors can go and dig into the food they prepared. more on "family type person"
There's no lumpia sorry 😂. They have family gatherings separately actually. But the person who surprise them would like to celebrate with them at work.

Those with generous heart will always be blessed by God. Getting surprised in a happy way means a lot to the one you are surprising and they can never forget such a day.
