In fact, it has many benefits to the heart, brain and body. Some of the benefits of legumes are: 1. Legumes are good for everyone because they have so many vitamins and minerals like vitamin A, vitamin K, vitamin B1 or Thiamine, B2 or Riboflavin, B3 or Niacin or Trytophan, B5 or Panthothenic acid, B6 or Pyridoxine, B9 or Folate or Folic Acid; minerals such as copper, iron, manganese, zinc, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, calcium and sodium. 2. Legumes are suitable for growing children because they are complete in vitamins and minerals. 3. Contains anti-oxidants against aging and anti-cancer such as vitamins A, C, E and beta carotene. Vitamins A, B1, B2, B6 neutralize free radicals against cancer and Alzheimers ’disease. 4. The purine content of legumes is only moderate so it can be eaten by people with rheumatism. If the uric acid is high, eat slowly, it is not forbidden. What is forbidden for those with gout are those high in purine such as liver, pale, kidney, balloon or those in the bopis. 5. There are isoflavones similar to the female hormone estrogen that are needed for pre-menstrual syndrome, hot flushes and insomnia. 6. Contains calcium and phosphorus for bones. 7. Good for the heart because there is no cholesterol and the fiber in legumes is against bad cholesterol. 8.
