Never Give Up, Keep Going.
`Never give up your desire to be what you want to be. Stay focused, persistent and relentless.”` `-Debasish Mridha MD-` Right after I graduated from College, I decided to take the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET). We know that taking the board exam is not just a piece of cake. In fact, we must exert enough effort to reach the peak of success. Also, we need to set a goal for us to be inspired and motivated while doing the preparations. ***The preparations I did*****:** **Enrolled to a Review Center** - yes, I enrolled to a review center for me to be able to regain the learnings I had from College cause I know deep inside of me, the learnings I had isn't enough for me to headshot the exam. I trust the review center. I did my part. I attended most of the scheduled review even if I need to travel 2hours from our home. I woke up early in the morning because I need to wait for the bus going to the meeting place. Sometimes, I need to skip my breakfast just be on time. **Review all the reviewers given** - the review center has the reviewers for us to study everything being discussed by the guest speaker. The guest speaker discussed the subject he was assigned. He must do his part as well for us to learn from him. I studied and reviewed all the reviewers given. I even bought some important books as an additional information about the exam. I spent my time doing the review from the morning until afternoon. Sometimes when laziness hit me I spent my day doing nothing. Just giving my day a free time because there were times that if we study too much our brain will not cooperate. **Doing some light exercise** - there was one time while I was in the bus travelling home, the man beside me asked me what am I doing as a fresh graduate. Then I told him that I am doing a review to take the exam. Without any doubt, he gave me some tips on how to get rid to the exam. ***Keep myself healthy*** - for me to have a healthy mind and body, I should take light exercise like walking around 5am every morning. He said that it is essential to stay healthy while preparing the exam so that everytime I encounter new learnings will directly absorbed in mind. He added that I should eat healthy food as well to stay fit. ***Manage my time properly*** - he said that I should have the good management of my time so that I have my guide on what time I need to review. He added that if I know how to manage my time it would be easier for me. I can take my rest as well. ***Keep my firm faith*** - this advice was my favorite. He said to me that faith is important in doing such thing. He said that if I have no faith in God everything I do will be in vain. It will turn out useless. I need to prioritize God before I start my day doing a review. **These three simple tips he shared to me were the things he did in his time. He followed these and made it successfully. He passed the LET easily and became a teacher up until now. I wonder why he shared these to me but that time deep inside in my heart it made me inspired to do so. I even don't know his name but I felt so comfortable while talking to him. I arrived home safely. I bid him my goodbye and say thank you for all the tips he shared.** Days after that moment, I followed those tips. I did a light exercise, keep my self healthy, and my firm faith to God became deeper. I don't know but I was inspired to do everything he said. I did everything in order to pass the LET but unfortunately I wasn't able to get the license I dreamt of. I failed. I wasn't on the list of passers. I cried so hard after receiving the news. It really hurts. I feel that the world was on my back that time.I had the hard time to sleep thinking why it happened to me. I did my part. I did my very best. I did all the things that I should do. But why? It took a month before I moved on. Good thing that my family was always there to encourage me that it is not the end of the world. They always motivates me like giving some piece of advice and comforts me that it's okay to fail. That's why I'm so blessed that I have them in my life. All I can say is that I have to accept the fact that it was not my time. The Lord has it's own purpose why it happened and I trust Him big. Right time will fall into place. For now, I am doing again the tips I have for the second time. I will retake this coming March 2022 and hopefully that it will be the last. This time, I need to put in mind that there's more chances to achieve the goal. It's not too late as long as I live. I will keep fighting that somehow I will succeed. I will **NEVER GIVE UP, I WILL KEEP GOING.** ***"Failure will never overtake me if my determination to succeed is strong enough.” -Og Mandion*** Thank you for reading.😇

I believe that we all have our own perfect timing. And when that time comes, nothing and no one can stop it. I think, not being able to pass the LET is one of my greatest fear as well 😱
