Ponies VS Waifus
I’m passionate about NFTs and I know that a lot of you may not know a lot about them (which is why I try to do somewhat accurate analysis). Recently I’ve been hyped over these new ponies and I think some people see them as similar to WAIFU and don't understand why.
Not that I can blame them for this. They are both AI generated, both really cute, even the faucets they’re distributed through look similar, however I’m here to clarify some of the differences.
Ponies have a cap. At the moment it's not confirmed but it seems to be 5000 and over 2360 have already been minted. While no more waifus are being minted there are way more “in the wild”.
Ponies is being actively developed on. Waifus had waifu camp for a little while but that was the extent of it really. Ponies have a site to look up a user’s ponies they have. They also have some sort of slider game that doesn't work on mobile so I can't comment on that. However there is more coming such as games (I address this later).
Ponies can be unicorns. While all ponies are unique, 10% are unicorns and 10% are “extra fun” (no idea what that means). However there should only be around 500 unicorns and these will be even more collectable!
Ponies are still insanely cheap. Waifus cost more on https://juungle.net right now while you can get a unicorn variant for under a thousandth of a BCH.
They will have functional characteristics. Each pony will have speed characteristics for the upcoming games. Sounds a bit like Koloboks on WAX if you're familiar with those.
The games give the ponies a use. With a use a base value can be properly established for them.
NFTs are blowing up right now. Ponies are the big thing on BCH at least and once people catch onto SLP tokens I think that pony prices will go through the roof.

Folding bananas and tokens at home
Folding@Home is an initiative that uses computational power donated by people from their personal machines to help fight against cancer, the coronavirus and other various diseases. They're based in Washington and have partners such as Amazon, Microsoft, Nvidia, Intel, AMD, Oracle (the java guys) and Avast (the free anti virus guys).
Put together all of this power makes for what would be one of the most powerful supercomputers in the world, but it's not enough.
The science is just too advanced for us to understand currently. They need more power. While there are many people who donate power (often at the expense of their GPU), there aren't enough. In order to get people to donate, they need an incentive and this is where crypto comes in.
There are two schemes that I want to talk about from the crypto community where you can donate power and earn crypto. Firstly...
Bananominer
Years ago nano underwent a fork to produce the well known meme coin, banano. One way to earn some is through using folding@home. They compare the process to mining and say "instead of running arbitrary calculations to 'mine' a cryptocurrency, your computer runs protein fold simulations through Folding@Home to help scientists around the world fight diseases such as Alzheimers, Cancer, Parkin son's".
Currently 1 banano is worth around half a cent which isn't much but it's something. I've recently seen people doing this through AWS and they only lose small amounts of money while contributing greatly to research. The way the price is going, it may soon be more profitable. It's definitely a well established scheme at this point and if you're running a capable machine, I urge you to check it out.
Folding.cash
Folding.cash is a significantly newer scheme that I only found out about today. They reward users with SLP tokens (which run on the BCH blockchain) for donating spare power to the cause. While I don't know a lot about them yet and their website isn't all that detailed, they're definitely a project to look out for in the future and I'll update this post when I learn more.
Why you should donate.
While I understand not everyone can, donating to Folding@Home is something to consider if you have a powerful enough pc and can afford burning though your GPU just a bit faster. With schemes like these along with the happy feeling from contribution you manage to get some crypto back as a reward. It may also help to get us out of this pandemic faster so I think that’s one of the best incentives there are.

What is Trinity Trust Token?
Trinity Trust Token (worldttt.com) is up to third most transacted SLP token in the past 24 hours. Am I surprised? No. Do I think it will hit number 1? It's quite likely.
You may wonder why I'm not fazed by this. Well to put it frankly I saw it coming. My first impressions of TTT when we first saw it around a week ago were quite positive, although I'm always skeptical that everything is an exit scam waiting to happen.
What exactly do they do? You can take out BCH loans with them "with very low interest rates, because your TTT would have covered most of it, if not all in some cases."
I haven't seen a scheme like this in the community so far and while I absolutely loathe loans (they're predatory) and interest (partly due to my religion) I can completely see the need for something like this.
And that's not just in the community. Have a bad credit score? Has your grandmother overseas fallen ill and needs some money to help pay for care? Use worldttt.com.
I think that in the current climate TTT will prosper and I tentatively wait to see what the future holds.
NFTs on the BCH blockchain
SLP is a great token system for being able to function both like ERC-20 and ERC-721, but for bitcoin cash. The NFT part here is often overlooked and isn't used all that much, although more attention had been brought to it thanks to the recent creation of waifufaucet.com.
But I think that NFTs are were the potential stands for greater adoption of the token system.
There is a massive hole left in the community, especially when it comes to collectible NFTS, by Ethereum now that it's almost unusable with the fees and the only thing plugging that gap right now is WAX.
This is our chance to push SLP tokens. We have WAIFU, SWEET and we have many proofs of concepts from MAZE token, now we need to put it all together and take it a step further.
If a wallet that was simple for people to use (perhaps a web wallet) , like wax was built and more people started creating dAPPS on the blockchain using SLP tokens, mass adoption would likely soon follow.
A lot of development is going on with BCH in the Peer-to-Peer Cash department, and I wouldn't want to take away from that. At the same time though I wouldn't want the potential that tokens have to be overlooked. Many people who love and use BCH don't even know that it exists, and we need to change that.
The use case for lazyfox.io
So firstly let's evaluate what lazyfox essentially is before we get into what can be done with it. Lazyfox is a site where you can hire "freelancers" over the Internet to perform simple or complex tasks and you can quickly and easily pay them with Bitcoin Cash which is a universal cryptocurrency. Anyone can make a task and there are a wide range of people on hand to solve it.
Because of this the possibilities of what can be put in a task are nearly limitless. But what I want to focus on here is that since it pays in Bitcoin Cash and so many people around the world use it, it's great for companies over the Internet (who may operate worldwide) to find solutions for tasks that require someone to be from a certain place.
If I make a website and I want to check that the translated Mandarin version reads well, I can put up a post on here and there should be a few people who read Mandarin who can check that for me.
If I'm testing out server hosting and want to see if my provider is fast enough in the east, I simply set up a task where people living in East Asia and the Pacific visit my site and tell me if it loaded quickly and downloads work.
Some tasks anyone can do. Anyone in Asia can visit a website and check how quickly it loads. Some tasks (e.g. Translating a massive block of text into a language with few speakers) require users with experience or training to fulfil them. This is where it's useful that lazyfox allows you to customise the payout. If someone is doing 20 hours of work compared to me typing this short article it's only fair they get paid 20 times more.
To sum up I think lazyfox.io has a lot of potential for tasks involving people from a certain place, with a set of skills, or who meet a set criteria since the site is worldwide and reaches many people.
Before I go here's one more unique use case, promotions and referrals. Let's say I've made a new crypto token and I'm trying to distribute it for free to many people to increase usage of it to hike price. One task I could set up would be for people to get some of my token (from a faucet of my website or something) and distribute it to 5 other people. This doesn't require particular skills and it's something that everyone could do, but outsourcing it makes it a whole lot easier. Getting 100 people to distribute this token to 500 people is a lot easier than just me trying to distribute it to 600 people all by myself.
