Florence, Italy or Firenze as it is called in Italian is a very VERY beautiful city, it is not very far from Rome, you can take the train to reach it. It has a huge Duomo or Basilica as you can see in the following pictures, it has a river, a lot of churches, museums, squares full of statues and shops.
