What a surprising question today. I didn't know that it is included in the exam. I personally doesn't disagree with the Mother-Tongue Based subjects to be part of DepEd because it promote the sense of our identity. But honestly, it is very difficult to understand Cebuano-Binisaya language in texts. I remember before when I have read the book of my siblings, it is all plainly written in Bisaya language but I can't understand these words even I speak that language everyday. Like example, "Idibuho ang hulagway sa gambalay." I was like What is This? These words are very hard and that was my first time to encounter them. To tell you, we the Bisayan speaker can speak bisaya fluently, but once we start to read mother tongue based books about our spoken language, we can't really understand them. I think it also applies worldwide. Like for example there are English speakers who can speak English but cannot write a formal essay. It's a matter of speaking the language over writing it.
