Loud Cymbals With No Gist, No Wit

Loud. Noisy. No sense. No depths. Sometimes the most significant meaningful words are those we have spoken in silence. I'm not pertaining about the bad, rude mean words spoken secretly but of words that cannot be explain thru the sounds of the tongue but of the wisdom of hearts that rest in the gentle silence of our minds.

*1 Corinthians 13*  ***1****If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.* ***2****If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.* ***3****If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.* What Therefore Is Love That Will Not Make Us A Senseless Noisy Gong? How to speak in love? Let's proceed... ***4****Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.* ***5****It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.* ***6****Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.* ***7****It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.* Source https://biblehub.com/niv/1_corinthians/13.htm There we are. Sometimes we will not see any wisdom in hearing loud talks and words, they are just mere meaningless sounds that has no effect on those who hears until there is love maturing in the one who speaks or created it. A speech with patience and kindness. A tongue that speak no envy or boastful or selfish proud. Words that do not dishonor others or self-centered. A speech that will not bring destructive division that cause others to easily angered towards another person he hasn't even meet yet or do not keep records of what's wrong to stay in course of being hateful towards thy neighbor he doesn't fully know yet. A speech that does not rejoices in evil but focus on what is true. For a tongue that is springing from the heart full of love spread words that always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. A good judgement comes from an open matured love. Are we molded in that realm?

It will always be an honor to become the source of beautiful words, those that build up others and it's "Better to SHUT UP when it's not helpful at all" For our tongue is a powerful tool where death and life comes forth. For whatever we have planted in the abyss of our hearts is what being born and given out via our tongues. I use words to express my feelings but it has boundary. I'm a firm believer that some words like profanities are useless and it only reflect how we have lost the self-control and disregard the model of the Holy Spirit of Christ in us. The fruit of self- control cannot be seen in us as practitioners. In fact here in Philippines, some of the words if you will understand it closely dishonors the "mothers". English has it too. I bet if these people can directly talk to their mothers and grandmoms using those words, they will feel disrespect hearing motherf*ck words in Filipino or even in English. What a senseless uncontrollable tongue. In this instance is usually where more troubles come forth, for those who cannot tame their tongues, have no change of hearts too. There is no life coming from it. It's not life-giving.

Self- control has taught us that speaking louder is another form of creativity where we can express our uniqueness but better if done in a pleasing way. Louder with grace, with royalty that reflects the image of the Father above. The word is God and God is love. In love is self-control in using words. No self-control is speaking loudly with no significance, no gist and no wit. It's like clanging cymbals that are just painful in the ears of those who will hear. It's sharp, it's unlikable, sometimes it brings chaos and mischiefs, it has no gist yes it is. Mostly these tongues has no wit in it too, no hilarious knowledge that will bring joy and softness to those who listens. Thy tongue is a reflection of a dead faith and dead hearts. Dead and no life. I would always love to hear speakers because when those great teachers talk, there is greatness, there is peace, there is inspiration that pulls me closer to them. Hearing people with stunning wisdom and personalities speak is like being in a swing of flowerful surroundings, it smell good and it's eye-catching. It's heart-melting and character molding. It's like being surrounded of bountiful delicious foods where you can always chew what you like and attracted to from their words, from their mouth. It is delightful and praiseworthy. Yummy words! Speak life. Give life from thy tongues. God from above sees your heart. **Here's cheering on you speaking with love, with respect and honor, peace and grace,** SuperJulalaine💗 Thank you super readers and sponsors.
