Good evening lovely friends. As I promised, I would share the jam that we made last week. In total we have 15 jars of jam! It's truly a blessing. Baking the plums in the oven is the easiest and fastest way. Then let it cool overnight. Transfer the jam in jars ( sterilised ) seal it tightly. Boil the jars in a big pan for an hour (to preserve them longer) Let it cool and store in a cool and dry place. Yup, we have plenty of jam for the winter :) This week we'll make lots of kompot as well! It reminds me of our life in a village in the Philippines, my grandma used to cook on an open fire (no gas or electricity ) we use dry coconut shells or wood from the forest for cooking. #villagelife Canning Jars: See my video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5KvC1p6RYMA More info about canning jars: https://www.bhg.com/recipes/how-to/preserving-canning/canning-basics/ Buhay probinsya the best talaga!!!
